    Time for a new thread. But I wanted to comment on something from the old one.

    @hey apathy...really?! Maybe I'm improving a little.

    @mojokingbee - Pretty sure you're getting better... cause there's just no way anyone who draws as much as you won't get any better. Seriously, you seem to be drawing a looot. I like that joker, great face.

    I think it's pretty hard to tell if you're getting better until you take a look at some of things you were drawing a few years ago and realise they don't look nearly as good as you remember them. I've got some old cartoons that I remember being really happy with but looking at them now they look horrible!

    Anyway pictures thread, I've been taking part in Alphabots & I'm going for the whole alphabet. Here are favourite ones I've done so far:

    It's my birthday month. 29 years spinning around on a ball. That means a lot of fan art. Not to say there hasn't been a job or two. I'm currently contracted with an iPhone gaming company which is sort of cool. I also still pick up a variety show of gigs from Craigslist. The following was one of those. Guy did a call for an artist. He needed four custom Clue Cards for his proposal. She said yes, by the way. I can't wait to see what this month brings. These threads keep my bulb glowing.

    @Amalgamated Biscuit; Love those Clamps.

    @ Amalgamated- lot's of fun !
    @ Jack- Happy Birthday! great work, I really like the first image, strong figures

    I made this for a client earlier this week. He had bought a similiar drawing off me years ago that got damaged during a move so he hired me to make a replacement. 30" x 40" ink on paper

    and I'm also excited because I got my new book published in time for the Toronto Comic Con next weekend, should be fun.

    Building phase:

    Just got it fully painted this weekend:

    And installed in my living room. It's finished in cadmium colours to match the Sims 2 painting on the wall above it.

    @HEY APATHY! & @NeilFord - Thank you kindly, sirs! I admire both of your work and always look forward to seeing it around these parts.
    @Paul Sizer - Is that a late Pope entry I see? I love it!

    It is. Pontific Organism Designed Only for Communion, or something like that. I'm sure someone can come up with something more clever.

    @Sizer - Awesome.
  5.  (11004.12)
    @sebfowler; I've actually been following those loops for awhile. Fil Barlow and Helen Maier do some wonderful things over there. I really like your pieces!

    @HEY APATHY; Seriously cool face there.

    @Paul Sizer; Wonderful equidistant pull. Really dig those tubes coming up.

    I'm not sure if this is the best place to display this or if there is a better thread but...

    The webcomic that I have been working on (as the illustrator) with writer Vito Delsante called PRISONER OF NONE has gone LIVE! There should be a new page or two up each week.

    Here's the single page origin of the main character, Fantomudoragon:

    Prisoner Of None looks great, but the link isn't working!

    Always an inspiration to check in here...
    comic, poster and Wonder Woman...

  7.  (11004.17)
    mojokingbee: wow your comic pages have gotten crazy good. i am picking up a paul pope vibe from that one.
  8.  (11004.18)
    @imaginary...thanks! I'm quite happy with that page but it was time consuming. My line's don't quite have that Pope vibrancy but it seems to work for my purposes.

    Work-in-progress on three pieces from the fossil thread you might have seen, and another one that's been bouncing round for a while and wants out. I work in my toddler's nap times and an hour at night, which means just getting the tracing and inking done took a week and a half:
    start
    Now for at least a fortnight of some incredibly fiddly cutting out. Bring it!
