I saw the pencils of this on deviantart three years ago and recently starting inking it on my lunch breaks ended up going as far as colouring it.

    Mark A. Robinson's runaways sketch inked/coloured by vandalhandle/neil delaney

Okay--I'm trying to teach myself how to draw, and @Yskaya was good enough to give me some sound advice, part of which is opening myself to critique.

I hope no real artists get insulted by me including my scribbles here. I'm way out of my comfort zone.

Fauxhammer: No worries! We're all still learning, and damn if your stuff isn't looking quite good.

Quick critique: Angel fellow's hands could use a bit more structure. It might help to lightly sketch the palm and all the fingers before you put in the inks. Hands are hard to get right, and it's usually really helpful to pay attention to the positioning of every part of them, even the bits you can't see.

@Fauxhammer...don't worry about it. We all had to start somewhere. Keep it up.

I'll just leave this here...Drink & Draw stuff

This has been in the works since Xmas. Nothing quite brightens up your life as a knitted Bat-laclava.

I did a 4 pager with writer Mike Lynch for Owen Watts small press time travel anthology, The Psychedelic Journal of Time Travel recently, and recieved my copy last week. It was the 1st time I've ever seen my work printed or lettered [...by the fabulous Nikki Foxrobot .] It was awesome to see my art in the final product and I was really impressed with the print quality of the book and stories throughout.

A cracking book, it's available from Comicsy for a fiver if you fancy a wee look - The Psychadelic Journal of Time Travel #1 on COMICSY - cheers!

Got my copy of 'The Psychedelic Journal of Time Travel' - absolutely delighted with the print quality of the book. Available from www.comicsy.co.uk if you fancy a look.

Some work in progress pics of what's on my easel now:

    New painting work in progress.

It's obviously really in a rough stage right now, but it's starting to look like something. I hadn't painted on canvas for about 20 years, so I decided to change it up a little and go back to canvas for a couple of pieces. I started out with no plan and got more of a plan as I went along. I still don't know what the final piece will look like. Maybe the face will be in there, maybe it won't...we'll see. I'm experimenting with different spray paints and paint markers on this one and will probably finish with oils.

    Figure sketchin'.

(20 mins each. I think, unless the more portraity one was 10, but that seems unlikely.)
