    @Greasemonkey:

    I'd pretty much given up on that show, and Family Guy. Just so mean-spirited, with utterly unredeeming characters. But the description of that episode intrigued me, and I watched it. Really, I wonder if MacFarlane would rather be doing a straight-out SF show. The settings and creatures were great.

    The writing on both American Dad and Family Guy has been pretty tight this year. Seth MacFarlane must be starting to take all the complaints seriously.
    And he does seem to enjoy SF. All of the Star Wars Specials have been nicely handled.

    "Goodby Silverstein & Partners Celebrates 150 Years"

    The correspondance scene cracked me up.

    Also, dammit, I can't resist it. Have some more batshit crazy Eurovision stuff. Romania this time. Stick around for the dubstep bit.

    Ah, public roles rather than private ones. Was wondering why it wasn't all bankers...

    Allie Brosh is back with a touching and informative post about depression! Hooray!

    It is also rather humorous.

    We've known it for 50 years.

    Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol

    The cartoon's framing device consists almost entirely of Jim Backus as Quincy Magoo singing "It's Great To Be Back On Broadway", thus explaining in song that the character Magoo is portraying a character in a Broadway theatre production.
