Apologies if the original link I posted was a bit facetious, I just thought it was funny, I'm always catching my bum on doors. It's annoying, but it's hardly the worst thing ever, I get that. Never meant to start a fight.

    Holy. Fucking. Shit.

Picture this: quite possibly the most important street photographer of the 20th century was a 1950s children’s nanny who kept herself to herself and never showed a single one of her photographs to anyone. Decades later in 2007, a Chicago real estate agent and historical hobbyist, John Maloof purchased a box of never-seen, never-developed film negatives of an unknown ‘amateur’ photographer for $380 at his local auction house.

More funny stuff texture, then we will all laugh more, we'll all get along better better, the world's people will come closer and Mr Jones will finally be able to sleep at night.

Ps. I'm 51 and I'm not old or unable to see the good in the world dispite my belt loop catching on my kitchen drawer pulls at least once a week.

Ah yes, there's going to be a movie about Vvivan Maier, that's why everybody is talking about her again. I remember when her pictures were first showed to the public around 2009...

I read the 'worst things in the world' piece and thought immediately of this:

James Beresford's 'The Miseries of Human Life', published 1806 and just thought it was part of the same tradition... although clearly not as comprehensive...

@Vorn gosh, that reminds me of the Onion article I read recently of "old woman dies never knowing she was the world's greatest violinist". Things like this give me sads, though I'm glad her work is getting shown! I hope there's a family who can celebrate this.
