    @Kradlum

    When I heard about Batman this morning I was having some kind of minor stroke and ended up thinking they'd cast Matthew Broderick in the role. Affleck seems almost sensible by comparison.

    I have no interest in going to see another Batman movie in my whole life. But I would go see a Matthew Broderick Batman movie.

    I think I might be the only person on my entire twitter feed that has no opinion on the new Batman.

    Tastes like Val Kilmer to me, but I've sworn never to watch another Snyder movie so I don't really care.

    I still think Josh Brolin would have made a great older Batman-Especially over Batfleck. What happened to needing an "older, more grizzled Batman?"

    Sure, when i think Old and Grizzled, i think Reindeer Games himself.

    BATDERP

    Also, what a Batfleck might look like:

    @Badbear

    That was pretty much my response when I heard about it "...so what you're saying is Val Kilmer was busy?"

    Honestly, I don't get the nerdrage about Batfleck. If you don't think he's going to do a good job, then don't go see the movie. No one's making you.

    I think whenever people think Ben Affleck, they think Jersey Accent. You know, he'll probably hit it out of the park. People just like to bitch rather than accept change and give him a chance.

    Ben Affleck being Batman will probably not be the worst thing about the movie. We all saw Man of Steel, right?

    Neither did I. A different Superman for a different time. *shrug* Still, getting awfully tired of people being all "THEY MADE THIS CHAIR OUT OF POO AND I MUST SIT IN IT BECAUSE I LIKE CHAIRS AND THEY MADE IT BUT I WILL COMPLAIN ABOUT HOW SHITTY IT IS WHILE I DO SO."

    @Internaut, which is weird because ... Ben Affleck grew up in Boston. (It's okay, Boston is a confusing accent if you dunno it)

    The comments that went with the above image were stupendous.

    And @Renthing, FAIR FUCKING POINT! And we all saw how good that was.

    I figured that's what the first Joker image alluded to, and it absolutely does put it in perspective. I always forget he's from Boston because it always seems like he plays someone from Jersey. Maybe that's just all the Kevin Smith stuff.
