    I read a lot of art blogs, and I see a lot of things I think you guys would find cool. I assume at least a few of you run across similar stuff in your travels across the internet. So let's see if this works!

    Here's some cool shit I found by Anthony Goicolea.

    Post away! Enjoy!

    Could you recommend a few art blogs, dorkmuffin? Or anyone else for that matter? I've started writing about art for work occasionally, and I'd really like to become more informed about contemporary stuff. Really love everything you've posted so far.

    This was the last thing I reviewed, Ugo Rondinone.

    @Jacen, Daniel Danger is a new favorite of mine. Loving the traction he's getting!

    @Greasemonkey, PRE-RAPHAELITES YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

    @Texture, here are the blogs I read (I use an RSS Reader, so I don't visit each one individually):

    Hi Fructose (site/blog. It's a magazine too. If you can get it where you are, do!)
    Hi Fructose Tumblr
    Juxtapoz (another art mag)
    Juxtapoz's Tumblr
    Beautiful Decay
    Supersonic Electronic
    The Jealous Curator

    The stuff I look at is very much in line with my personal taste, and I'd LOVE to find some other blogs. Anyone else know of good blogs?

    OH also, and I'm not sure if you have streaming access to this in the UK, but PBS does a show called Art 21. It's on Netflix (which the UK just got?) but I dunno of it's on UK Netflix. It's also on the PBS website. I dunno if you can stream on that outside of the US. The gist is that it's a one hour show that profiles 4 (sometimes 3) living, working artists. It's MUCH more "high art" oriented than the blogs that I read. It's also really well-executed. I don't always love everything they profile, but I enjoy the exposure to different ideas/ways of working.

    @Dorkmuffin: yeah, I love the ornate richness of the Pre-Raphaelites.

    Franklin Booth's art is pretty amazing. Especially when you realize that they are not engravings, but made with pen and ink
