Haven't started watching Hannibal yet, but looking through wikipedia, it seems the fourth episode has been pulled from the US market due to the content. :(

Watched the first episode of Maron:

I thought it wasn't bad. I've been a fan of his standup since the 90's and like his podcast, so I don't know if I would like the TV show without being familiar with him beforehand though.

I reckon I'm going to give both Hannibal and Defiance a look-see. I'm not watching anything of value on UK Freeview at the moment, so I may as well.

saw that Matt Smith was leaving at the end of the year on Doctor Who. who do you think will be/ should be the next doctor?
my pick is Stephen Mangan, he was already kind of "Doctor Whoy" on that Dirk Gently show that never quite got off the ground.

I don't think anyone with any kind of a high profile will be the new Doctor. It'll be someone like Smith or Tennant, who's not nationally well known but on the cusp of making that transition.

    #DoctorWho

    I vote this guy:
    Mark Sheppard

Although he might scare the kiddies. Stephen Mangan would be a good choice too...

@badbear I love that guy, but he would be a kind of intense doctor though.

Anyone watched Vikings? I'm just a bit curious, like.
  5.  (11043.52)
@flecky - I really liked Vikings more than I thought I would even though, like most things on the History Channel these days, it's "history" with a small "h". it's fun though.

Arrested Development was predictably great. One of the very few cases of a returning show still maintaining it's appeal.

@imaginarypeople - That was meant as a joke, right?

    Danny Dyer as Doctor Who

I usually get at least some of the funny bits, but I really don't see any here.
  7.  (11043.59)
When I first saw it i thought it was real, but I guess it was a joke that just went over my head. Probably cause I had no idea who Danny Dyer was.

@ imaginarypeople - You're not alone. I didn't get Dr Who casting joke either. After Googling the guy I still don't get it.
