    @moali - Welcome back! Damn fine work, sir.

    Here's a frame from some recent animation work. Not sure if/when these will be online, but will post them if/when they do appear.

    And a progress shot of linework over storyboard frame for another animation in the same series.

    I'm sure you're all aware of the Bartkira Project, right? If not, lose yourself in the greatest tag on tumblr ever. I didn't participate properly, but couldn't resist a sketch.

    I also spent Saturday night helping out with character designs on a stop-motion animated short for a 48hr film comp. Here's a happy king wearing sunnies.

    Not pictured: the stop-motion explosions I drew with coloured pencil. It was a fun Saturday night.

    Hey everybody, I have a bad case of indecision and I could really do with being prodded out of it before I go to the print studio on Saturday. I have this print, a quick butchering of which can be seen right here:

    print

    and I can't really decide if I should take out the comet or not. Help!

    @Ryan;
    I prefer the flow without it.

    I agree; without the comet reads way smoother.

    @Mike: About 200 hours on that particular bit of the painting. I've run several washes over the top since then, and painted extra highlights and shading over that.

    All the nature stuff is a bit of a departure for you; love the sea creatures in particular.

    @mojokingbee your sketches/comics always make me want to draw more.
    (Thank you for the hands compliment in last artist-thread, I seem to have to relearn them every drawing anew)
