Well, I've got a Facebook Page up a few days ago. This week's been pretty crazy, so I'll be recording this week's tomorrow. The week coming, I'll have to record a good four-five weeks of episodes to get ready for EPIC FORNIGHT OF FIGHT TRAINING. At least I think that's what it was called.

All right! A new episode! And this time, I've been a bit self-indulgent and read a story from my own brain.

It's called Reciprocity and I'd like for you to stuff it in your earhole and then tell all your friends to stuff it in theirs.

Okay, I'll stop posting in this thread now (unless it magically manages to stay un-killed by the automatic processes until next week's episode is up) so you can get a rest from my self-promotion.

Enjoyed that, good stuff! The accent was very interesting. I found it very believable, a nice little scene.

Right - following your FB comment, I came to find this thread!

Re: marketing. I will put my hat on, and think. And bump/RT as often as I can feasibly burn it down my timeline. And call in a small favour (i.e. a RT based one) from a well connected friend (which doesn't promise anything particular, but might help if I catch them on a good day, or if they'll take a huge snog in payment!).

But not if you'd rather wait and have me use it against a future thing?

Bram: Thanks, man! :) I have a fairly conversational style in my writing, especially for smaller scenes like this.

Helen: Not at all. If you feel like sharing, go for it! :D I've got one from Steven Ormosi in the pipeline, one I found while browsing on Wordpress (this one) and Call of Cthulhu.

Also, as we talked about on Facebook, I'm going to get in contact with Neil Gaiman's literary agent about permission to read "I Cthulhu" on the podcast at a later date. He hasn't answered my tweet, so I'm assuming it got lost in the five billion messages he gets a day. :)

Steevo's ep. in the bag! Now I'm going to do a read-through of Call of Cthulhu to prepare for tomorrow's long recording session! :D

Gaiman's people wouldn't let me do any of his stories. They were nice about it, though. Pretended that it wasn't because my podcast is invisible in the great scheme of the internets.

Well, the thread is still up so I might as well update you on the podcast!

    Steevo's episode is up!

Also, I've recorded all three chapters of Call of Cthulhu and have edited and exported the first. It was an interesting challenge as I haven't done recording sessions this long before. It's not all THAT different from other types of sessions, but you do have more things to think of. Call of Cthulhu is pretty straight-up with no real change in narrator voice, though, so that makes it simpler. I have done little things to change it up, however. Those episodes should be up next friday and the two after that.

@texture - Thanks, man. That's always good to hear. Magnulus deserves a ton of credit for really bringing it to life. I was blown away on my first listen... also, subsequent listens.

I finally managed to get Chapter 2 of Call of Cthulhu up, after disastrous idiocy on my part this friday. So do go have a look.
