Thanks Mojo; unfortunately my enthusiasm didn't keep shitty Adam Sandler films from dominating the box office this weekend.

@Iaviv, that comic page didn't show last time I was here, I love the wolf's expression. Here's some more bubbles for you to puzzle over:

    @ Sizer -nice posters!
@ Iaviv- great comic page, very freaky
@Ryan S. Thomspon- thAnks, I'm enjoying your work aswell, especially the illustrated organic globular designs
@jackcrowder- great characters- the alexis rogers posture made me laugh

I'm working on some smaller drawings for my fall exhibition

@HEY APATHY!; Mike, your M.C. Escher nuked Matt Groening sprawling pieces never cease to captivate my imagination. If I was able to get a giggle out of you then I achieved my target audience!

@jackcrowder- so you cater to the demented-derranged-delusional-potentially-dangerous-slipped-through-the-cracks-of-public-mental-health-care demographic (insert evil laugh)
@mojo-stunning work! I really like the stage & the couch scene is just awesome, those charaters look alive

some more small ink drawings I've done about 10 of them now, at first they felt tedious but I'm starting to have fun.

I've been away for a while, but I haven't been lazy. Here are the five pieces I've been working toward completion lately, in their current state:

    maybe the world should burn

They are pastel, all roughly the same size, 20x30ish, I think. All of these are drawings I started over the last 2 years and am now trying to bring to a close. If I can finish 12 of them by the end of the year, I'll try to do a show.

@Hey Apathy - I am continuously impressed by the complexity of your pieces and the way you iterate that look. It feels obsessive in an exciting way.
@mojokingbee - I've never not been impressed by the volume of terrific work you manage, and I'm really thrilled that you are still doing it. I know you've had some comics in an anthology or elsewhere. You need to be on a regular book.
@imaginarypeople - your work has an unsettling vibe that I think would make just straight illustrations feel Lynchian or suffused with unconscious horror. I'd love to see an 3 or 5 page horror comic drawn by you, but not something formulaic, something psychologically unsettling.

I don't draw much these days, but this doodle from D&D on Sunday kinda got away from me. Side note: I really like drawing on my Surface Pro.

Does anyone have experience with Sketchbook Pro? I did this in Sketchbook Express, and that version is... lacking.

@oddbill that last one is my favourite

@glukkake thanks! I'm feeling that one is about 90% done. It helps that it might have the strongest initial drawing. It came together quicker.

@oddbill...Love the vibrant colours. Love the last 2. I wish I was faster for regular comic work. Day job is pummelling me.
    @dorkmuffin...aww so cute.

I could get lost in your colors all day. Your organic touches hit the mark perfectly in each piece. The energy that surrounds everything really becomes addicting and easy to revisit. I haven't seen a painting of yours that isn't inviting. Do keep up the lovely work.

More worms, please. Your Hookworm is amazing.

Started messing around with sculpture. First thing in sculpey, ever. I'm trying other materials as well, but this one's definitely fun to work with.

I found some boards sitting around doing nothing, and I managed to entirely run out of yellow acrylic. These things might be related...

@HEY APATHY! - Love your work, I like the geometrical designs of the buildings paired with the organic lines of the faces and eyeballs
@mojokingbee - I am seriously jealous of the amount of work you do. My favorite is the first one with the singer. I dont think I see too much of your stuff fully colored.
@ oddbill - Those are some awesome paintings. What medium do you use? I like the second one, the green plant lady really stands out with the red behind her. And thanks for the compliments! I have a couple "Lynchian" comic stories I have been meaning to do. One of them I don't know how to finish though.

@ oddbill- you figures and surreal surroundings are incredible, the last image is absolutely haunting. & thanks I'm glad you enjoy my work aswell
@dorkmuffin- yikes!!! your friends are strange
@jackcrowder- wow- that is awesome! Strong lines and expression. She looks like she is having a great time
@iaviv - exciting stuff, I can't wait to see what happens with your sculptural work, this is looking great

more from my current series, I started adding interiors scenes to the city scapes
