no cuddle time - i think you called it nicely, though the colours for iaviv's piece reminded me of Moebius, too.

Ryan S Thomason - you did a great job of capturing a piece that's percolating in my head as well as your own.

Elsewhere i mentioned working on a mandala. Somehow i wound up creating an atomic/nuclear focus for meditative peace. Screw the contradictions, here's the black and white version.

I kept it b&w until completed so that i have the option of colouring it in different styles. If anyone else has the urge to do the same, here's a 2700x2700 version.

@ no cuddle time; I take a great joy with inverting your pieces and telling a story about a man being chased through heaven.

Holy shit, I absolutely love the face at the bottom of that page. Gorgeous work on the shading and texturing there.

@3 - trippy design, the b&w is awesome but I'm also interested to see it get colorful psychedelic

@No cuddle: That's amazing, and beautfiul
@Apathy: That looks like a bunch of stuffI'de deffinetely like to see and buy, live.

It's been a long time since I posted something here. I see, as always, there's to many great stuff being done. As always, one of the best threads here.
This thing here below is just something I came up at work, being bored and extremely unable to focus in something more... substancial. I call it "microcomic", although it's just a stupid strip. ^_^

@no cuddle time - Another good looking page. I like his face in the second panel, it's great. Annnd now I see someone already wrote that. But I don't care. It's true.

@JP Stargazer - What did you use here? It looks both digital and... pastel? Coloured pencils? Really nice style. Kinda wish it wasn't just a short strip.

Here's a digital sketch for an oil painting I'm working on. This will take at least a month to complete. If I actually complete it.

JP Stargazer - that's purely beautiful, and is starting to inspire some notions in my head.

    "whoaaaaaaaaaajfshbhggjgdnbvanv! "
Damn. Those internet acronyms are REALLY getting out of hand. but thanks, whatever it means. ;)

Hey Apathy! - Here's the Glorious Watercolour Edition:

I used the black & white art to create a series of friskets for this. I was rather pleased how the technique worked out. (As always, i'm speaking digitally)

Now i just need to find a fluorescent ink based printer to output the blacklight version:

Thanks guys. It's funny you mention the face in the bottom panel. I ended up redoing it 2-3 times to get a more convincing 3/4 angle on it. I knew it was worth taking the extra time!
  5.  (11082.13)
@JP Stargazer - I love the style of that strip. The colors and shapes, and how the bright color pallete clashes with the tone of the story are awesome. Is that done with pastels? chalk? crayon?

@sebfowler - Thanks! It came out much better than i expected..

Since there hasn't been a remake/remodel since this insane art binge settled into my brain, i went off on my own. This one is called A Different Wonderland. You can probably figure out the rest of the remake/remodel parameters from that.

Still having much too much fun combining different techniques and methods.
    Brain may puddle soon

    @-3- MMMAAN, that's awesome!!!!!!!
@Iaviv- Just colour pencils, and after scanning, some bluring and leveling with PSD.
@imaginary- same as above. THanks!!! ^_^ I guess it just came to me, but that was the idea.
    @no cuddle- whooo-fucking-a! Just incredible!!

Nygaard: Hah, I'm enjoying it too! :D

Some things I did yesterday and today. I feel more in control of the brush pen now but I'm still making a lot of silly mistakes with shading.
