    Thanks Apathy! I have to say I love the "top half of the head being sliced off" piece. Is that a print of a smaller piece or painting?

    I'm working on a page today that started really well and it's kind of tapering off. I'm hoping to turn it around and post it later.

    @dorkmuffin: Somehow all I can see when I look at that drawing (which is an awesome drawing, by the way) all I can see is this:

    The internet has ruined me, I fear.

    Hey artists, I have a commission! Except not really a commission because I can't pay you except in jam.

    So it's canning season and the crabapples are on the stove as we speak. When the jelly is done, it would be nice to have a label. We have many possible fake-company names and cute illustration ideas. It would be tiny, something Avery-label-sized, but hopefully colourful. Possibly with cats?

    I don't expect to sell any of the preserves unless the final yield is way massive. Mostly I was going to give 'em away or let them be sold at charity bake sales and the like. Hence no pay. But credit!

    Let me know if you have some time/art to lend.

    This was a tricky one but not as tricky as the one I'm working on now -_-

    @dorkmuffin Nice work, on both the sketches, on page 7 and 9.
    @jackcrowder - - is that brush-pen, or some digital line... I've heard there are ways to vary the line weight, in digital stuff, but I haven't a clue...
    @iaviv - interesting stuff (on page 7)
    Here's my latest commission (I hope there's no rule against posting corporate owned superheroes... for private, paid commissions it's what I'm most asked to draw.)
    Moon Knight & Daredevil Commission
    It's pen & ink and acrylic wash

    Love that Daredevil, nice cityscape too!

    @ no cuddle time
    Thanks! DD and MK are on one of the Chrysler building eagle/gargoyles and the Empire State Building is prominent in the background... the rest of the buildings are faked (couldn't find reference for the less famous buildings, or photos from anything close to the right angle for this pic). My ruler was used a lot, drawing this :)

    @mlpeters - Thanks!

    Here's another painting I'm working on. Oil dries so slowly, it's impossible to work on just one piece at a time.

    I ran out of turpentine so I stopped painting it, like, halfway through it. So that's why it's like this. I was told it looks cool with all the empty spaces, with just outlines... But, uh, no, I'm going to fill everything and make sure this painting turns out exactly like I planned. Hopefully it would look even better, then. And yes, got me a new bottle of turpentine now. All set.

    @ mlpeters; It's a modified Illustrator brush. There's also no rules against copyrighted characters since pop culture keeps the gears turning. I love the work you did with 'moon and 'devil. Those white highlights are the bomb.

    The white highlights in the Moon Knight/Daredevil are FW white acrylic ink. I used a dip pen (same size nib, Hunt 99, as I used with black ink, but not the same one), to add the highlights - reverse hatching.

    Hmm Hunt 99 eh. Have you ever used the Pilot Parallel? I love those pens.

    Marching on, on a Saturday no less:
