Thanks Apathy, the feeling is mutual! I've been working a lot digitally recently and I think my stuff has gotten a bit better rather than worse as I suspected.

Yeah, it's a web comic. I plan to do a page a week but I'm not quite up to speed yet while I figure out some of the details (have about 200 pages planned). Here's the link:

Here's an updated version of the Blue Boys image from the Remake/ Remodel thread. My concept was to portray the boys as they saw themselves, rather than as they were.

thanks @ hey apathy, I always love seeing your work as well.
@ Kosmograd - that would make an awesome album cover.

My word Jack, that's a nicely sinister world you're building there.
    I got through thirty-two prints today, here's two I haven't posted here:

@Ryan S Thomason - That top print looks interesting. What is that shape?

@jesserubenfeld - Whaaaaaat. I can barely use my left hand for anything. This seems mighty useful for when one hand gets tired.

@tnperkins - So good. Especially the first one - very dynamic. It almost moves.

@Ryan S Thomason - Whenever I look at that top print I think it should have a little space-ship flying through the structure...

@flixzr, iaviv - it does have a bit of an Inner-Spacey feel to it eh, it's the chalk skeleton of a radiolarian, a tiny microscopic bit of plankton that floats around in the sea by the billions

A guy, wearing armour, standing in a photographic studio with one of those painted sheets behind him that they use for nasty portait shots.

So, I'm new to Whitechapel and I open almost every comment with that as I'm really awed by the work I'm seeing and always feel the need to explain that I've been earning a crust by doing crappy small-change art for years (icon art, web stuff, things that look like clip art etc etc - you know, the soul destroying stuff) and I'm very, very new to this kind of work here. Would love to know what people think of this and my next post. I did the first one (this one) on my iPad and the second one on an old mac using Sketchbook Pro and a crusty old Wacom Bamboo I found in the bottom drawer.

Lady in white, wearing metal bikini bottoms for some reason.

This is the Sketcbook Pro one and yes I did fail in my objective, which was to present an attractive, powerful, sexualised woman in power armour without objectifying her - and then I put her in metal bikini bottoms, which I considered something of a fail, but that's why I'm putting the art here, so I can get some sensible criticism and maybe get over my metal bikini problem.

@Kosmograd - still loving the blueboys art. I think maybe yours is my favourite now. Reminds me of the Superman: Red Son series.
@HEY APATHY! - Holy mother of God, what are they feeding you?!

    @MisterTibbs - Welcome! You're off to a good start.

Some more sculptures from me. Haven't drawn anything interesting lately.

@iaviv - thanks! Loving the sculpture work.

@tnperkins - particularly like 'King Chiroptera and the Shocking Situation...', partly because of the title, but also it has a really appealing sense of form and balance (genuinely - there is something really nice about the weight of that one), and also because he has really cool nipple appendages! I figure anyone who can get a machined nipple attachment into a superhero picture and make it look cool is doing something right.

Slowly been coming out of that artistic coma and re-emerging to life. Now if i can just manage to regain some semblance of social interaction with the world.
    Maybe this will help...

I've been enjoying all the art in the thread and the new remake/remodel.

Anyway while pencilling my comic I fancied some watercolours so I drew this:

@-3-: Nice start of re-emerging! Is that digital painting? What program, if so?
Amalg: Love the colors, nice subtle blends.

@abiscuit - love it! I always love a bit of ink and colour. Really satisfying to look at and I like the concept.
