    @ Argos - thanks. Wasn't sure if I was still able to do it, but it was actually easier than when I was 34. I chalk it up to living a "cleaner lifestyle" than when I was younger. I'm hoping to do the 100 mile before I'm 44.

    Cara, tell your husband he has just taken his first step into a more awesome world. Also, that shot of you and Miss Afua is gorgeous!

    Shaved heads are AWESOME.

    Here is me and my fellow getting ready to see Chelsea Wolf and SWANS. ( I looked for you there, Dormuffin!)

    @CaratheWalton: Shaved heads are a good look, especially when you resemble Breaking Bad's Mr White. Nice photo.

    @Rachel, it was PACKED. And I was up at the front.
  5.  (11084.16)
    @yeah, I figured you were up at the front. We got in with guest passes early on, and I tried to see if you were upfront before it got too crowded, but then we gave up on being on the floor and went up to grab some seats on the balcony. If I hadn't already taken pictures of SWANS last month I'd have been right up there with you! :D

    Your photographs are FAB, btw. You got some GREAT Gira facial expressions!

    @Rachael - god DAMN you two make an attractive couple!

    Aw, thanks @Argos! Yeah, he and I have similar aesthetics, and often look like super villians together. Me with the eyepatch and a cane, him with black bell-bottoms and Tourette's, we sure do make a pair! I'd tried to just post the video instead of photos (he looks cuter in the video), but I can't figure how on the new Flickr. I stuck it on my tumblr, though. It's just us getting ready and me running about trying to get enough light to take the above photos. LINKYDOO

    @PaulSizer-Thanks :)

    And I really do like my husband's bald head, as long as he doesn't start cooking meth we're in good shape ;)

    Magnulus -- A couple of people have been highly entertained when they've glimpsed my desktop. When they ask about it, I simply say that I'm a fan of home-made hanger-boards.
    They'll then ask if "the guy" is a friend of mine, I ask "what guy?", they tell me on the right side (usually described as "being weird" or some such thing), and I acted all surprised that there's someone there...

    I find odd, little things to be highly entertaining.
    Thank you for the laughs.
