    @govspy - goddamn that's awesome. Happy late Father's day.

    I got a few things done today. My mom made me (gently and with incentive) but it got done. I haven't been particularly productive for almost a month. Really really hope this keeps up.

    That's brilliant, @gov! All the best of luck with you and your daughter over the summer. :)

    Going to London from 28th of july to 11th of August for a Stage Combat workshop! :D I cannot wait to do this!

    Incidentally, I'm trying to find somewhere as close as possible to Finsbury Park to stay while I'm there. I've got some feelers out but no takers as of yet. If any of you Landan folks know anyone in that area, I'd love to hear about it. :)

    Tweet it out there... I've got various aquaintances/friends/associates around that area or within a tube stop or two who pay attention to their timelines in a way they never do to direct questions... Make sure your profile picture is, um, suitable. ~

    I've Just finished the penultimate session of my training to do voluntary work at the local drug treatment place. Soon I'm gonna be a goddamn qualified Peer Mentor. I've put the work in, so that shit is done.

    @Helen, is my Companion Cube profile picture okay? :) It's nerdy AND friendly! It does somewhat suggest I bite things, but that's fine, right? A bit of biting is fine?

    That's amazing, Flecky! Good on ya, much respect.

    I sent off my interview answers to big publication! Worked out some junk regarding my book! Tried a vanilla porter that blew my mind!

    Got hired for a big photo job that (pending meetings) means a lot of money!

    Then I got a migraine and good 'ol PMS kicked in and I started wanting to cry for no reason!

    But THEN I went for a run, made a bath with lavender, rose petals, chamomile, bath salts and milk! And after this I'll be watching an episode of Double Fine Adventure while snacking on some pita and hummus!

    @glu, got the idea talking to you and Katelan. You two are the reason why I have to have milk in my baths now.
    @JP and surprisingly cheap! I just made a tea with it all in my spare french press. When it was nice and steeped I filtered it and poured it all in the bath. Followed by about a pint or so of milk.

    I spent a drunken afternoon with friends, saw yummy art, ate nice curry, and am still called hon by the one who I am no longer ... with in that sense, and I have not changed myself from my normal stupid tactility and he has realised that I'm just who I was before the brief wander left of field and back again... (although if he changed his mind back I probably still would. oops) Minor pangs that it won't be but also quite a relief in a way because I no longer have to be discrete around the rest of this group of people.

    Also I am being taken to silverstone on saturday to see practise as another friends +one on their guest tickets... which includes some paddock wandering...

    @oldhat I might just go and fill the french press with stuff... although not the milk for me....

    Just did an interview with a news publication for a "Ladies of Beer" feature they're doing.

    I get so nervous of those things. This sums it up.

    But hey, it gets me out there! And it probably went well. Maybe.

    Doing another one tomorrow.

    @oldhat: Good on you! :)

    My head is so munted right now, but I've managed to finish my training to be a peer mentor at the local drugs treatment project. I'm now qualified in that shit! All I got to do is wait for my criminal record to be checked and then I can be unleashed.

    I got clean - Now it's time to clean up this goddamn city! (Delusions-of-grandeur and thinking I was having a secret origin about becoming a reformed vigilante superhero quickly replaced by the fact that I need a shower and a cuppa.)

    You gotta dream sometime!

    @oldhat: I'm sure you did great! You have for all the interviews/shows I've seen you in, no reason this time should be any different.

    @flecky: echoing what glukkake said. Keep it classy, and go with a Shadow scarf and hat. Also, congratulations again!

    Me, I made one of the best-crafted meals I've yet accomplished, and I'm super-proud of it:

    Burgers. Ciabatta al latte buns, grass-fed beef patties, mozzarella cheese, fried mushrooms, and a barbecue sauce sauce and relish made from apples, raisins, white wine, garam masala, and assorted other spices.
