I miss the hell out of the chicken wings at hooters.

Hi. I'm Trishelle. I'm a bit quiet on here, but I've been lurking pretty consistently since 2010. I'd read stuff in the forums before that, but I was scared to join in for a while because I thought everyone was so neat. Which they are, but I feel welcome, and that is pretty neat too.

A bunch of you follow me on twitter and stuff, though I'm not entirely sure why.

I grew up on a Utah military base, and went to a couple of schools in the state. I just graduated from school pretty recently. I got my BFA in art with an emphasis in printmaking. Afterward, I quit my job and moved to Ohio, where I now live with my sister and her husband and their 4 (soon to be 5) children. I am currently trying to figure out what I want to do with my life, at least between now and grad school.

    I look like this.

Hello I'm Nel, been lurking here since early in the freakangels run, but only joined in with the fun a couple of years back.
I'm from the U.K. and I live and work in Amsterdam in one of those Dutch coffee shops you'll have heard about.
No photo to hand right now, but you can assume I am bald and bearded as seems to be the form for many of the gents round these parts.
This forum is my favorite place on the internet and you are all wonderful people.

@nelzbub: Don't know if you know a dear friend of mine in the trade there - Red of Sensi Seeds?

@ Cat, Red is a good friend who was only yesterday sat at the bar for a cup of proper english tea. Small world eh?

@nelzbub - Small indeed! Known her over 15 years...

Hi, radicaldoubt here. I've been a member of Whitechapel since 2007, thanks to Warren Ellis, but this is my first appearance since October of 2012, so I figured a re-introduction is in order. I was born and raised in NYC, and am still plopping around these parts. Currently working in the editorial department of a wacky startup in Manhattan.

I see some old faces and many new ones, so hello all!

    Hello's I'm Yskaya.

    Silent art type.
Hatched in 1984 under a fool's moon. Have haunted the forum since ’07.
Usually hang around the deo thread/remake remodel thread.
Illustrates all and sundry. Sells comicbooks.
Most notable fact: Dragged Edwin into the forums around '08. Married 'm in ‘09 after he'd survived the fora.

Glad to have met and see you all about on the net in various guises. :)

There IS something about this place that keeps me coming back. Probably the wonderful folk who haunt this corner of the Internet.

It's been a while so hopefully I do this right. HIIIIEEEEEE I'm Bunny I make hats and attack people with makeup. I cosplay and do lots of art and too many projects all the time. I recently got back with my husband (who has been a a peach- I on the other hand....) I've quit my day job of doom to go back to school to get certifications to ultimately do Forensic Odontology. I'm also on a on person crusade to kick the crap out of unsanitary/unsafe fang makers- or just spray them in the face with Cavi-cide so they will at least be sanitary.

I too have been absent for a while... a long while... Looks like I last posted in a thread in 2011, and even then I hadn't been around much.

    So, I'm Steve.
I used to do IT work in a high school, but I quit that to spend my time making indie games. My house is a much better setting for reading this forum than a high school.

I'm Ben. I signed up a couple of years ago, but Facebook ate my life. I am currently undergoing withdrawal.

It's been ages since I did the introduction thing, but here goes:

Teacher at a junior secondary school, local politician (the words 'worms' and 'can' suddenly start circling), married, father of two beautiful girls, geek of the first water and grower of beards.

I wrote my M.A. thesis on "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", and never thought I'd find anything like it outside a Kurt Vonnegut book, but then OHMYGOATWARRENFECKINELLIS!

Sorry, that tends to happen a lot. Thirty-eight-year-old fanboys are a rarity, apparently.

Anyway, I'll cede the floor. I always wondered about that phrase.

Here's a picture of my youngest daughter and me, out for a lovely walk.

My name's Jerry but I go by Jay

My favorite comic shop is A COMIC SHOP right here in Winter Park, Florida! You may have heard of us...big deal, anyway

Because of a comic shop I got enveloped in Ellis' work, along with many others. I believe I'm taking my obsession to unhealthy levels. I don't think I'm normal. But I don't want help. Thank you, Si, Warren, Garth, Alan Moore, Grant M. and every comic book geek who shares an affinity for this delightful medium.

Please check out my blog and share yours with me. That's what this is all about. I want to have a real comic blog without ads and supported by the community I cherish so much.

    I started Inside Comic
because I'm just as fascinated by the people making these things almost as much as the books themselves.

May the Force be with you all.

    Closing now. New one soon.
