More joys of homelessness have led to no net access recently, but work goes on. And better, all that wild painting energy now has found a cohesive direction. Not ready to go into any details on the project as yet, but figured i'd throw this sampling up while i have internetability. Or some silly marketing word like that.

@ -3-; That looks very very very promising. I'm eager to learn more.

Wow I've been so busy with non-creative art related tasks ( exhibitions, grants writing, website etc.) that I haven't been here for awhile. Things are looking awesome as usual!

@ alberto – those panels look great, fantastic colors
@ iaviv – the weird for no reason is outstanding. Love the demon in the wall, the human hands on the hairy dog, the yellow background...well the whole thing actually
@ kperkins nice atmosphere with simple washes
@ diello- great work, hope you guys make it up to Toronto again soon (maybe for TCAF in the spring)
@ imaginary – awesome owl, sometimes I wonder how you manage to produce so many drawings with such finely detail line work. Maybe the little people show up at night and fill in for you?
The building piece is absolutely stunning
@ jackcrowder- lots of great stuff, my favourite from the last few pages is the plane
@ sebfowler- jeezus that loop is incredible, I always enjoy you animations!
@ 3 yes that is intriguing looking forward to more

Ok all caught up on enjoying the art!
I haven't had time to make anything new but I finally uploaded this comic if anyone has a few minutes to spare check it out. It's about artist's block and insanity, enjoy!

@HEY APATHY!- I wish I could find a group of little people to draw all the ideas in my head. Do you use the little people to finish your drawings? Where can I find my own little people? Also what do you have to feed them?

Here's more progress of the Fhtagn piece. Almost halfway done.

Wow! It has been a while. Lately I have been building a series of portraits of classic monsters out of Halloween candy.

@HEY APATHY! - I couldn't possibly relate to this comic more than I do right now. I am so f**kin' lazy and there's so much stuff to do! Ahhhh!
@imaginarypeople - You're blowing my mind with this piece.
@ericmillikin - That seems like something someone should have done a long time ago. Such an obvious connection! I feel bad for not coming up with it myself...

    Here's something I just finished.
Sam & Max Hit The Road
Meant to do this, like, a year ago. Finally catching up to some of the things on my "to do" list.

    @oldhat - Thanks :D

@ imaginary - I feed them lots of whiskey, then beer, then more whiskey etc. ... of course by that point I might be hallucinating the whole little people thing but whatever works.

    the Fhtagn piece is incredible.

@iaviv making that comic got me out of a slump, just don't rip your skin off ok. Great drawing I'd almost forgot about Sam & Max

    Here's one for HALLOWEEN ...

Damn - I only ever got to play a demo of Sam & Max, and it put things in my brain for life. Going to have to do something about that one of these days.

A few weeks ago I started a new project called The Nude 52! which is exactly what it sounds like: a weekly, year-long series of naked pin-ups of superheroes. It started out as a personal creative / drawing exercise, but I've opened it up to contributions by other artists. Here's the first one; there are a couple more already posted on the web site. Updates will be Friday afternoons.

@Greasemonkey, I really love that. Really really really.

Thanks - I'm happy with the way it came out.

(It has the look of urgency that comes from watching for crackheads while you paint :-D)
