Yeah season 4 took place in the "heartwarming" alternate timeline.

Seasons 1-3 were not without their heartwarming elements, though. The problem with S4 was that they were cloying and usually unearned.

Yeah season 4 took place in the "heartwarming" alternate timeline.

I like this. This would be good.

The worst thing about series four was that while it wasn't terrible it also wasn't really Community. It was mediocre.

Yeah. I did still enjoy it, but overall, it just didn't have the Community feel. And yeah. Imaginarypeople, you have exactly the right idea! :D I hope they run with that!

No, scratch that. It felt like a show that was trying to be LIKE Community, but missing on crucial points.

I've watched all of American Horror Story, and I love it. Pity I've got to wait until next year for more of the Coven story line. Frankenstein Kyle, Stevie Nicks swamp witch, racist undying head, sax playing ax-murderer - gimme more.

Reckon I'll do season 4 of Justified, as I've not watched it all yet. I've made a start on Person of Interest, and will stick with it. I'm not too sure why, but I got a big fondness for Michael Emerson. He's a canny lad, like!

Justified is one of the only shows on TV I've seen that genuinely gets better with time. Generally most shows I watch have an okay first season, a good second season and peak in quality at the third season before beginning a slow (or swift) decline in quality from the fourth season onward.

Season 4 of Justified was like watching a massive, well crafted film. There was just so many memorable moments in it. I consumed it all over about 3 days. I'm about halfway in on season 1 of Person of Interest. There have been a few not so good episodes, but on the whole it seems alright.

The first half of the first series of Person of Interest does waver quite a bit. Once you get past the mid-season break there's a minor restructure and it's fantastic.

If Dan Harmond is back, then I think I'll go back to watching Community. Woot!

You know what's better than 99% of TV these days & I'm currently rewatching?

    Leverage.

I started on Adventure Time today, given the first series is finally out here on DVD now.

It's... something. I'm not really sure what, but I'm pretty sure I'll be sticking with it...

Haven't watched TV, other than DVD movies, in over a week.

I'm not sure if I've missed any episodes of important shows. I kind of appreciate that the networks stop running first-run episodes over the holiday.

I'm the exact opposite. I've now seen most major and many minor releases from the past two years, thanks to holiday media bingeing. More movies than TV, buy I've seen some community, some Allison Janney in a sitcom (ew) and most of the past two seasons of Face Off and Next Top Model. So there's that.
