    Fans of horror and black comedy, assemble! My wife is an avid and discerning cinemaphile, and I'm amassing a collection of new films as a gift for her. My better half's tastes run pretty dark, so I'm particularly looking for recent horror, satire and black comedy titles. Anything you guys can recommend will be gratefully received.

    This is a good few years old, but Shane Meadows' Dead Man's Shoes is fucking grim. One of the best horror films I've seen, which I also have no desire to watch again.
