I both love and hate you for making me care so much about Jackson. WHO WILL LOOK AFTER HIS SHEEP WIDOW?

I'm sorry, Si, but I don't wait for your threads.

I don't even refresh crossed.com home page, because I think episodes appear there with a sight delay.

    I just refresh http://www.crossedcomic.com/webcomic/volume-3-chapter-[chapter number]/2/ directly.

Well, that was anticlimatic. Not bad, just anticlimatic. I suppose it's suicide time *bouquet of flowers*.

So we still don't know how she was turned crossed. Yay, more flashback material :D

Well what a turn up. It would take someone who couldn't shoot straight to off Jackson. Damn I fricken love Friday morning (in Australia). TV is such shite its brilliant to have a cartoon series I'm keen to see every week. So many possibilities from here...

Not Jackson! Well, it's not over yet.. hoping he survives. Crossed universe wouldn't be the same without him.

God damn. What an issue. Instead of getting a climax in this chapter, we get a tragedy. Funny how the world works like that. Normally when an Ubermensch like Jackson gets taken out so simply/easily/conveniently it feels cheap/forced/under-planned. But in this case it makes your blood run cold, it makes the comic book feel like it's set in that much more realistic of a world, it makes us shocked and speechless as opposed to angry and indignant. It's nearly impossible to kill of characters without looking like a prick out for gore or cheap tension; but everytime a character dies in Wish You Were Here, the series becomes richer and stronger because the world is made poorer by each death. It enhances the feeling that sand is running out of the hour glass and these doss cunts haven't much time left. This is of course isn't even mentioning the amazing use of the frames and panels by Townsend or the subdued yet vivid color palate of Rodriguez. I mean seriously every issue is ART that actually conveys the feeling of the setting. Fuck look at page 8 in this issue and tell me the tension doesn't build across the entire page until the terrible reveal of the bullet wound. WYWH deserves some serious awards. Keep up the awesome work through the final volume Spurrier, Townsend, Rodriguez.

One last thing; Oh Danny Boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling... From glen to glen, and down the mountainside....

Townsend is the inker. Fernando Melek is the artist. Not that the inking is not good. And the coloring has been consistently good in WYWH.

This series often upsets expectations so I don't think it's a given that Jackson is going to be killed or crossed just yet. And what has Shaky got in mind anyway/

That'll teach me to open my big mouth (conveniently ignoring the fact that these events are planned and probably drawn weeks before I said anything).

What did Harry say in the "Fatal Englishman"? That a broken ankle was a death sentence these days? And Jackson has just suffered a considerably worse injury than that.

Even if he isn't permanently crippled, he's currently immobilized, and the Crossed cannot be very far. The only chance I can see is if him and Shaky were able to hide themselves, like Shaky did with Aoileann... and we all know how well that ended up, don't we?

Jackson's definitely right that Shaky wouldn't want him to turn. As he's already gaga, odds are that he'd end up as another Alpha Crossed on par with Horsecock, Addy's mom and others.

I think Shaky is going to offer Jackson to the nun as the one who killed Ashook in return for her leaving the island alone. A plan that will definitely go wrong. (Just an idle thought as I was walking the dogs earlier today).

oh, I thought the "twisted ankle= death sentence" line had been said in Amanda's story where she found the crazy merrymen.

But ye, Jackson is probably screwed. I mean, maybe a surgery to remove the bullet could get him back on his feet, but go out there and find a doctor and equipment to perform this in world 2.0. No Fear's guess sounds pretty good, but I doubt even Shaky would attempt something like that, or would he?

I know the currents are strong around Cava and it's pretty shallow as well. But couldn't the crossed take the cruise ship and go full speed at the island making it to shore? Bad feelings all the way around.
