I completed yesterday this guitar illustration project for a friend (you can listen to his band here) :
    Gueze's guitar
The inking was done with a Staedtler permanent Lumicolor, with the initial drawing done with a 6B pen (it wouldn't mark otherwise, due to the varnish).
I really enjoyed doing - I found that it creates a whole new relationship with the drawing when done on a object that already has a function, as if it was giving the art a purpose.

Of course, credit must be given: I couldn't have done it without the help of Banshee:

@ D.Miranda - that guitar is sweet! I would be afraid to play it in fear of ruining the art though.

Here is the last painting I'm doing for an art show at Nickelodeon Animation Studio's front gallery next month:

@William Joseph Dunn, Mojokingbee, Dorkmuffin: Thank you very much!! :D
Regarding the possible ruining of the art: the friend for whom I did the guitar is planning to put one (or a few) new layers of varnish over it. There was still some uncertainties regarding the way the ink would react with the varnish, so some tests will have to be conducted. Maybe it will just end up like a tattoo and I'll have to do some retouching after a few years :)

Sometimes you get stuck in meetings and you can't even handle how dumb some of the shit that's said is.

I posted this page before, but I have the full short comic I finished up on my site. You may find it depressing, disturbing, or maybe funny.
