The previous thread served us well for nearly 100 pages of oddity, time to send it out to the farm and begin anew.

    QUOTH SI, OUR BENEVOLENT OVERLORD:

    You know how this goes.

Memes. Virals. Musical Insanity, video villainy. Any and all bait for the following conditions: mouth-smirk, diaphragm-rip, arse-leak, colleague-dismissal. That which renders the working-day bearable. That which dooms culturists to misery.

Your net foragings. The scum which accumulates on the surface of your inbox. The froth on the drunken face of the world. The gorgeous spraint of the massmind. Bring it all hither.

(Note that news stories and Things Of Interest now have a separate home in the “NewStrange” thread. This right here is where we present anything that would be fundamentally valueless, if it weren’t so clearly brilliant.)

    REFLECT; AND PROCEED

    ^Excellent use of bullet points.

Don't know how I missed this trailer:

Or maybe I could interest you in a google image search for "hobo nickel"?

As a fan of Ben Hollis, January 7th has been deemed Wild Chicago Day, I'm not sure this has ever been featured here:
    Rent-A-Friend VHS.

I've mentioned this a couple of times over in the open mic thread, but it is finally online....

The first episode of my web series...
    Last In Space

Worth noting is that, back when I was starting work on this, WC regular GreaseMonkey was nice enough to spend an evening explaining how to build the set properly (which I had no clue how to do)

@Peter - Webisode looks fantastic, the script was very funny. You guys did a good job on the construction, especially the rows of bolt heads and the weathering effects (although you may want to smooth out a few of the brush marks with some fine sandpaper for closeups.) Nice work all round.

I've said it before (when ImaginaryPeople posted the original Vine video 4 days ago in ATN2013) and I'll say it again : these are not spiders, they are opiliones.
  5.  (11237.16)
true they aren't spiders but a swarm of anything with that many legs is frightening

To paraphrase Bill Bailey, in a war with the spiders they will side with the spiders.

Yeah, but the spiders would probably treat them like second-class citizens, with their fused body.

Spiders would call them "human-face" because they only have two eyes. In the army, they'd probably be relegated to digging trenches and burying eating the dead.

    These are not nonspiders!
