    Happy.

I've just watched my first episode of Sherlock on PBS. Thus far I have learn that I was correct in one supposition I had made.

There is, in fact, more sexual tension between Sherlock and John Watson in Sherlock than there is Joan Watson and Sherlock on Elementary.

Nothing does sexual tension better than a British TV drama. We practically invented the concept back in the 18th century.

    Don't you mean the 19th century ?

In the 18th century, people actually fucked.

    @ Wood

I have it on good authority that people fucked in the 19th century as well. Elsewise they'd have been pretty thin on ground in the 20th century...

Ah yes, but in the 19th century, we liked to pretend that we weren't fucking and thus the rise in tension - you see?

It's a strange blip in British history that continues right up to our imposed Porn Filter brought in last year and this year: in the 18th Century everyone enjoyed a bawdy-ol' time then Queen Vicky comes along and tells everyone that women don't masturbate.
