So, uh. I did it. After thinking about it for weeks, then wondering if I should even do it, I did it.

    I started a Patreon account.

If reach my goal (I'm shooting for $200 per article at a rate of 1 article per week) I can actually do this beer writing thing for a living.

I posted in this thread previously, but I have a new thing I'm doing, so ....

    JAQrabbit Tales
is a quasi-autobio-porno-graphic novel that I'm serializing online. It's the life story of a bisexual guy named Jason, based (with varying levels of truthfulness) on myself, told thru not-entirely-random episodes about his sex life. "Harvey Pekar meets Tom of Finland at a queercore concert". New pages (usually 2 or 3) are posted every Monday. I'm looking for new readers – of course – and also (paid) guest artists to illustrate short stories or pin-ups. The stories range from humor to horror to melodrama in tone, from PG13 to XXX in content, from 1-10 pages in length, and the players range from twink to bear to chick to jock. JasonQ at

OK, with Whitechapel up and running again, I should add some contributions to stuff, starting here. So, um, HI.

I'm a visual artist and leatherworker/maskmaker, which means, I'm doing all sorts of stuff like this:

A pair of Bags of FUCKS.

Almost all of which can be found over on my own site, Tormented Artifacts.

Or, there's my tumblr over HERE.

Or my 'official FB page HERE.

    New year, new pimping:

I write stuff, mostly Fortean journalism and occult speculation.

Latest: Review of the recent stage adaptation of Robert Anton Wilson's Cosmic Trigger in this month's Fortean Times (issue 323, Hail Eris!). As ever, you can find links to past work (such as my extensive scribblings about Slenderman and 'hyperreal' religion) at my main gig Daily Grail, and

Oh! I read that article about Slenderman in FT and never made the Whitechapel connection!

I did a noise. It's a demo, but I've had fun recording it. My drum skills needed a kick in the sticks.

LITERAL METAPHOR. The Internet randomly generates a sentence for me, and I take it in all its dementedly surreal glory and make a comic out of it. This is one of the results:

    Updates Tuesdays and Thursdays.

I write a film blog here. That's all. (that just made me a bit sad) Though I do have a comic strip that should be coming out in the next few months, links when that happens.
