Man, Crossed is outselling Batman in Germany? This does not fill me with hope...

Right! Makes me wonder how/if Uber is selling in Germany. Having artwork already for 100 is good news.

What about uber and Germany? It's just a comic and nazis are real they are in the history book if you like it or not. What's the big deal?

Yeah but I've never looked into how alternate history WWII books sell in Germany. This made me think about it. No bid deal at all and I'm not trying to stir anything up, just curious.

No one said it was a big deal, dude. Don't make a fuss over nothing.

I'm not sure if Uber is even being sold in Germany, though. Nazi imagery is banned over there, so unless they release a heavily edited version, it just won't be for sale.

Ah yes, I forgot about that. I'd imagine is isn't for sale in Germany then.

Hmm, I wonder if there's a way to check it. All I can think of is asking Kieron Gillen on his Tumblr; he answers questions there sometimes.

Maybe banned but long live the internet. Order online. Also I find it hard to believe that no ww2 movies are running in Germany. Or anime like hellsing ovas etc.

    But I might be wrong

Now that makes we wonder if electonic media showing Nazi imagery has restrictions on it in Germany. Because you're right (if I get where you're going): why allow electronic media but not print?

I'm no expert, but I would imagine that electronic media would censor itself in Germany. Even if, say, Comixology, could slip a swastika by, there's really no reason to risk their standing with an entire country by breaking said country's laws.

i've just did a quick search on google and i can't find nothing about Uber being banned in germany, also Uber is available on amazon, and for download. just googled "Uber comics online". i see no way how this can be banned.

but you can never be sure on politics and laws

    @11111

I'm not saying it would be banned (or at least not exactly), I'm just saying that, judging from other works of fiction like Wolfenstein: The New Order, such symbols would be censored.

Just take a look at this video and I think you might understand. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hK4Px4O8aE

    About Badlands #57:

Lorewise, the only thing noteworthy that I found in it was the flashback involving Jane Thomas. Judging from her reactions it would seem that her daughter Marie was one of the proto-Crossed, seeing as there is no indication that she had been hit with any Crossed bodily fluids prior to her murdering her little brother. As well, there was no indication that the Crossed had attacked the place earlier.

Also, unless it is subsequently shown that Crossed-Alejandro hunted her and Esperanza for seven months, Horsecock-style, then that is one helluva plothole...

As an aside, I have a question about the whole Thin Red Line arc that I'd like to ask everyone here. Is it ok if I start a separate thread for it, or is it better if I ask it here?

Now that you mention it, I honestly haven't seen other threads besides this one and Si's updates. I mean, it looks like you can start a new thread with no problem, but it'll be closed after a few days. Whereas this thread will probably stay open for a little while longer.

At any rate, I'm eager to hear your question. ;)

nah, this thread and the other one will be automatically locked as soon as they reach 4 days of inactivity, I think. But I suggest you open a new thread to discuss thin red line in particular, with tags so we can go all spoilery and that. I won't say who it was but I got the final chapter spoilt by checking this thread, and I thought it to be kind of rude
