Yay We get more SHIELD! Happy.

Watched two eps of PENNY DREADFUL, loved 'em. Looking forward to more.

    Community went away. *sad face*

I watched ARROW through season two. I made a face like this the whole way }:/ Clunky and flat and I might have liked it more if I were into telenovelas instead of superhero action. But I don't. The creative team passed on a zillion opportunities cheesy shit was shitty cheese. I won't be watching season three and even though I really liked the "birth" of The Flash I'm probably not going to watch that crap. (Every time Amanda "pussy cat" Waller shows up I get angry all over again and I have to take a walk.)

    Still loving Parks & Rec.

Watching, mostly enjoying Cosmos though I wish it didn't run off on a tangent right when the science was about to land. *shrug* It's really pretty but I'm not learning much science (cute details about scientists, though, are a different story).

In anime, Neon Alley opened up shows to stream on its site, over Netflix & Hulu. Um... If I spent the money for the premium services, or if they made more than the bare minimum, which I've already seen, available for free I bet I would way more excited.

@raz: Yeah, I couldn't really get into Arrow. I sorta tried. I'll give Penny Dreadful a go today.

For my sins, I do enjoy Continuum, and I've almost finished Season 2.

The second season of Continuum has been much stronger than the first one. It's fluff but it's entertaining fluff. Just checked the pilot of Penny Dreadful and hmh, entertaining enough, but got a "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen lite" vibe with a side order of Sanctuary. Everything feels derivative nowadays in a wrong way for me, I may need to have my memes adjusted :/

The mid season finale of Mad Men left me so confused and happy I had to look and make sure someone wasn't playing a practical joke on me or something.

There was a little bit of The Singing Detective about Burt's final appearance. (If you don't know what I mean:
    Them Bones
    Yeah.)

It is nice to see that Don got his mojo back, and let Peggy get a chance to pull a Don Moment.

Grimm had a fine, frenetic season finale.

    @Fishelle

I love Mad Men because everything that happens tends to make sense, either plot wise or thematically and then they throw a triumphant curve ball at you.

also, the show just hates Harry Crane and he deserves every iota of it.

I'm not currently, actively watching anything currently on TV right. I might catch a Daily Show once in a while, but the closest thing I seek out is the 3 am(2 am central) rerun of Num3ers on early Thursday mornings, which I record on, yes, a VCR.

I'm really in a holding pattern waiting for Defiance and Dominion to start up in June. I really liked Defiance last year and Legion was weird fun in the theaters, even if it's difficult to believe that someone is turning it into a TV series, much less one with Anthony Stewart Head in it.

Right I'm going through the Dragons: Riders/Defenders of Berk cartoon series on DVD, catching up for How to Train Your Dragon 2. I don't know why, but I recently watched How to Train Your Dragon and have been on kind of a dragon kick ever since. Part of it that I really love that they pretty much kept the continuity of the voice cast from the movie. Another part is listening to Hiccup go on about peace between men and dragons when he's clearly training his dragons How to be a Fighter-Bomber Squadron.

This week's episode of Fargo was like the Happy Elves Candyland Adventures compared to last week's . . . right up to the moment when Malvo went into that mirror-windowed building. That sequence was . . . . hilarious and awful.

@Vorn: I get what you're saying. Maybe True Detective has spoilt us for class viewing, and things just seem a bit lacklustre since. I'm halfway through Season 3 of Continuum, and it does keep me fairly entertained.

I think Crossbones would be so much better if it had John Malkovich go to Somalia, get a ship, get a crew and be a pirate.

Squee! Just discovered that not only does Netflix UK get the new series of Orange is the New Black this Friday, it's also about to get series 4 and 5 of Archer! I may contrive not to leave the house for a week or so.

Can someone please remind me to coincide a fasting day for next year's Hannibal end-of-season binge?
The bird inside the dead woman inside the dead horse
put me right off my lunch.

That said, it's engaging-enough, story-wise, but the beauty of its production is almost distracting at times. I'd love to see an episode of something like Person of Interest (screw it, anything) made or told in the same style.
