someone please tell me where I can go (and when) to find intelligent and/or funny conversation on SL. I used to have a group of friends on there, but we lost touch. now everywhere I go it's either abandoned buildings, or crowds of sphincterminds babbling "Fuk? Duh! LOL. **>>Howlzz<<**"

edit: I'm half-serious. please feel free to address either half.

If your on send me an IM although I find realy good conversation hard to come by, and most of the timeI am on organising or doing a gig.
but the offer is there (not sure if my conversation is ever intelligent and doubtful on the funny, but worth a shot) SL aka is Phal Beaumont.
If you can't find something you want, make it.

I'm not sure if it's still there, but I used to go to a kind of club called The Velvet. Had some pretty fun people on there who were quite intelligent. Not to mention the music and contests are pretty damn fun.

The Velvet on Iron Fist? I think it's still there.

Shows how long I've been gone then. Is it still near the Church Of Elvis?

Heehee...that reminded me. Warren, remember when I suggested The Church make your place a stop in their parade and they were kind of dumbfounded that you WEREN'T going to kick them out an in fact, welcomed them? Wonderful times...

The Fake Doctor's Association, Teaming together with fellow neighbors to grief a place called Bukkake Bliss because their traffic was so high it was causing lag (Free Nampo!) ...oh dear god, I'm starting to miss it.

well, I took J2point0 up on his offer and actually had a decent conversation last night! I feel so happy. he's got a cool pad-- horror and sci-fi movie posters on the walls and a giant floating LeMarchand's Configuration puzzle.

re: griefing-- I remember hearing about some friends of mine misusing poseballs in one of those "maternity clinics" for the pregnancy-obsessed, and getting some pictures of horrible, horrible creatures being "born" from their avatars... good times.
