    I think it's a safe bet that interludes don't count here.

    Also Shaky abandoning Ashoke to his fate (when he was incapable of looking after himself) was a dick move. Even killing Ashoke would have been more merciful.

    Oh I don't know - Ashoke seemed to be quite a happy cuddly crossed!?

    No wonder Teresa sees Shaky as God - a nun can only give herself to God! I've gotta say Shaky's shaky ankles will make things interesting - he can't even look after himself, regardless of the crossed, now. I guess he'll have a nice view of:

    a) the islanders blowing themselves and a hundred crossed to pieces
    b) the islanders being overrun by a hundred crossed

    I wouldn't be surprised if the last claymore is used to mercy kill the kids.

    As stated above, breaking Shaky's ankles has doomed them, but they were pretty much doomed from the start,
    1.Stay and get overrun
    2.Leave and get run down by speedboat Crossed with sniper rifles

    Leaving while Shaky was off talking to GK seemed to be their best chance but then again, where could they go?

    At this point, and judging from the bright and cheery endings of every other Crossed book, it seems like the most positive outcome is one where the Cavaites and the Crossed just wipe each other out.

    I'm hoping that after WYWH ends, that there will be something to take its place. Could this just be a super long arch? And that there will be a new WYWH set elsewhere?

    Would love to see the fallout of World 2.0 in another country. Like New Zealand (I freely admit nationality bias right there), or Russia?

    @Danny

    Isn't that the problem that was supposed to be addressed by American Quitters? Where even asking for an ending where people just survive somewhere has become too much? Showed up in the newest annual as well 'For the sake of arguement, can we just say he got away?'

    Not really.

    Apparently, Garth Ennis himself is working on a webseries and a webcomic for Crossed. But I wouldn't get my hopes up for that since we haven't heard anything, and the last time something like this was announced (Stitched) nothing happened.

    Why exactly did they brake shankys ankles? If they didn't want shanky on the ship they should only get on the ship and pick up the ladder. If he tried there ware enough means to stop him. I think they don't want to give shanky a chance to survive or escape. He is a lucky bastard and I bet something will come along the way to prove it again.

    Yeah, the ankles WAS a bit extreme! I guess they simply couldn't kill him, and this is the 'next best thing' but will mess them in the end.
