It's Thursday! It's mid-afternoon in London! It's another wrongheaded morning in Mericky! Everyone in Australia is dead from spiders and snakes and poisonous accents, apparently. And it's time the last, the final, the end, of All Crossed hideosity!

    Episode 94, live and free-to-air.

Remember: Not safe for work, not safe for minors, not safe for people of a nervous disposition, not safe for You.

    And.

    We're.

    Out.

Well. That's closure. Thanks for the ride. Everyone got what they deserved. Even us for asking...

    Fan,fucking,tastic.

Completely unexpected way to end it too. But I have a strange feeling not everyone will be happy.

I'm faintly reminded of the end of Blackadder. After umpteen seasons of OTT lunacy, the end was understated and sad. Well done.

Very Hitchcock-ish way to end it. Imagine the violence and how they went out together... Like it a lot. Might force some people to think a bit about this climax instead of jizzing of on pictured violence.

Arguably better than what Shaky deserved, but the closest thing to a happy ending for Teresa.

Very interesting perspective. To me, it seemed like they had one last fling, he turned, and they both had enough presence of mind to drown!

Very, very nice, Mr. Spurrier...spun gold my friend.

I'd be lying if I didn't admit I wanted to see Shakes the Clod as a Crossed but I was nonetheless thoroughly pleased with the final chapter, as much as every single chapter leading up to today.

Superbly done, good sir! Thanks for everything, truly.

That's a beautiful ending. Congratulations, Si.

Also, if this were a movie, this would be a good ending theme, in my mind:

I was almost afraid to start reading this installment. Now I've read it five times. Well done, and thank you.

Can't wait for the promised new thing. I trust that there will be some announcement in these pages.

Well they left it opened if Shaky and Theresa actually committed suicide after killing the groundskeeper and then having sex, but yeah sometimes it is better to be told and shown (wait a minute...)

Greatly enjoyed all of this, it's nice to have a Crossed ending that knows how to hit the themes of hopelessness and hope without having to do a pointless and frankly overdone kill em' all ending at this point.

I started laughing as soon as I hit the second page and realized where it was going. I'm still laughing.

    Beautiful.

I wonder if this ending was planned exactly like this or was there possibly a vagueness intended.

I hate to be a fanboy but I really love the way Si ended all his runs so far. Again, his dialogue was perfect for the scene and the audience. Perfect way to end it for them and us.

The right ending for a hell (in many ways) of a story. Bravo Si - and let's also hear it for Juan and Jaymes.

And of course, I read this the day after having been introduced to Hitchcock's "Psycho" trailer through the Nostalgia Critic. That hits some of the same points :D

"You should have seen the blood... It's too horrible to describe."

It's simultaneously frustrating and unfulfilling and neat that we don't actually see what's going on. Sorta symbolic too. Shaky's diary is done, and so we lose his point of view.

And another reason why I like this better than the other Crossed stories I've read to date. This one portions out the nastiness more efficiently. And just as you're expecting the ultimate bit of nastiness, you just get... that.

Been a hell of a run, mister Spurrier. You gained a fan through this, leading me to seek out some of your other work. Good Damn Job. Same goes for all the artists involved.
