has been confirmed at wondercon: new DEMO from brian and becky! bring it suckas! now we need a new rumor that we all think is inevitable to wait on announcements for. how about i make one up?

grant morrison's WILDCATS revamp is actually taking so long to "come out" because it is being released as a time traveling sentient comic book parasite. we are busy looking on store shelves, while it is actually devouring old issuse of WILDCATS and taking their place in the interiors of said shitty books. while we wait for another issue that is never gonna be "released", all of the story is filling itself into your back issue collection!

    your turn now.

Haha, no. Imaginary comics rumors violate ten of the two forum rules, including the top secret: "Thou art probably on the wrong board, son."

Feel free to talk about Becky and Brian's stuff, though.

I'm having a time out until I can learn some manners.

Yeah, it's not like anyone didn't see this coming.

Interesting mention about another Couriers book. Will the book stay at AiT considering "they are a small company with a limited reach into the direct market (the sad fact that some retailers just don't order from small press companies)?"

I'm sad that not all the backmatter will be in the new release of the trade, I only read one issue and really, like in Fell, it is one of the best parts.

But I'm excited at a chance to read all of the new ones when they come out!

haha, sorry, i figured it was fine since it was half awake ridiculous nonsense for us nerds. i couldnt possibly be more excited for new demo, though. one of my favorite books of the past few years! plus, beckys playlists are the only place i have seen CHARLES BRONSON and SPAZZ songs in relation to comics....

I was going to ask Becky about this when I walked by, but she was pretty swamped so I didn't want to be the guy like "hey, I heard this thing about some stuff with the other guy."

In my estimation, it wont stay at AiT. Larry (hey! I don't feel weird using his first name because I actually know this guy), like another poster quoted, doesn't have the same permeation as, say, Vertigo, and since both Brian and Becky have been publishing stuff under them recently, I would imagine it will be Vertigo. Hopefully it lasts, considering the irresponsible (IMO) manner that other series have recently received.

Anyone see the script book the Brian Wood did for Demo? Really interesting stuff, you can see him evolving as a writer as the scripts roll on. I hope he does something similar for Local. Watching a designer and artist find his, very solid, footing as a writer is fascinating.
