    Filed under "Stuff you didn't even think off", now plants can twitter you when they need water.

    Fantastic stuff for those utterly web-connected people (the ones who just went through Grindings recent twitter-based digital-assistant guide), now some of the beings you could be keeping in electronic touch with are your own photosynthesizers.

    i remember hearing about this product years ago when they were developing it.

    when I was a kid I had a plant i started from seeds i got from some company or another...when they grew they looked alot like long skinny stemmed four leaf clovers, and they would wiggle and respond to the slightest vibration or sound. they were kinda neat, but my granny threw them out...
