I thought my laptop was sitting on my femoral artery here in London when it started shaking. That and my body 'felt' it though nothing else was moving, it was less powerful than when I used to live in a tower block next to railtracks and the big cargo trains went past.
Considered Twittering it but thought that people would think me mad...
It was more of a wobble in Cambridge, but still knocked a few things over. I was sitting there thinking "Bloody hell! An earthquake!", but it only lasted a second or two.
heard on the radio this morning it was a 5.something...
we get small tremors every now and then in the UK, most are unnoticed and definatly not this big. i remember a news report a few years back where a quake made a CCTV camera in a city centre shake, but nobody on the camera actually noticed...
