@Tacopunch - only saw that too late - was going to get you to say hello to liz revision from me. she makes the most marvellous jewellery out of old electronics
Great idea ! Here's a radio show we did for brap fm ...some kind of beats station based in Brighton , normally specialising in hiphop and trance.
We , however , went for playing an hour and a half of Faust , Black Moth Super Rainbow , Pram , Kemiallset Ystavat , Coil , Scott Walker , Autechre , Sunburned Hand of the Man , Radiophonic Workshop , and ,er , some of our own stuff.
I'm an old-school freeform radio DJ (26 years so far), and I don't do "mixes" so much as "juxtapositions". But I'm still living in a dial-up universe - so I can post playlists, not the music (never mind heinous copyright issues).
@remotepush - "Honor Thy Error as A Hidden Intention" (Brian Eno Oblique Strategies)
@kernowdrunk - Yes! That's real radio! Slap some synapses!
My DJ name (though primarily my musical alias) is Freeze Etch, I'm the resident DJ at an event called Axis Of Evil in Bloomington, IN, and have been going at it in the clubs for a little over two years (though I've done student/community radio for considerably longer)... Unfortunately I don't really have any of my more recent club mixes available, but here is an older mix, in two-part form (and yes, there are not one, but TWO songs from the Batman Forever soundtrack...):
Polysics - "Black Out Fall Out" Numb - "Closer" Gridlock - "Pallid" Massive Attack (feat. Tracey Thorn) - "The Hunter Gets Captured By the Game" Underworld - "Jumbo" Dr. Octagon - "Aliens" Freeze Etch - "Vehicularism" Lusine ICL - "Lazydayz" Clock DVA - "Voice Recognition Test" Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - "There Is A Light"

...Also, just for good measure, here is an example of a recent setlist (though I do not have audio, sorriez):
OK. my very first pair of CD mixes, the first song of which is my very first attempt at "remixing" a song. (I took a track from the Matrix soundtrack and overlaid it with Matrix sound bites-- it was 1999 and I didn't know much. hell, I was only using Goldwave.)
Bands: Bush, Curve, Ice Cube, Noel Gallagher, Moby Sound bites: Matrix, Aliens, King of the Hill, Silence of the Lambs, X-files (bonus track from The Frantics - Boot to the Head: Ti Kwan Leep)
Bands: Lo-Fidelity Allstars, Bush, Tori Amos and BT, Glass Candle Grenade, Moby, NIN, Marilyn Manson Sound bites: Black Francis, the Matrix, Star Wars Episode I, The Lost Boys, Clerks, The Shining, Se7en, Highlander, Silence of the Lambs (bonus track from The Frantics - Boot to the Head: Last Will and Testament)
Hahaha! And here I was thinking I wasn't going to find any new music today! Now I've got enough to last my entire shift, and its all awesome and full of so much win. Too bad I'm still trying to get a decent download speed, as a consequence some files aren't downloading fully :< What I hear is great tho. Wish I knew enough to add my two cents so I'll post a friends website instead ARKiV! Is gonna kill me if he ever finds out.

i'll have to work out a way of getting the tracklists included as it tells me that it's 9874 characters too long, but there's everything from kylie to john cage to lenny bruce to kraftwerk to the radiophonic workshop to vincent price and so on.
