    Apparently you're technically not allowed to celebrate St. Paddy's day as this year it falls in Holy Week. That cancels out all Saints celebrations. But then who celebrates it because they're Catholic anymore?

    Actually. The Catholic Church moved the official St. Patrick's day to the 15th, just for this year, because Holy Week can't have happy things in it. So you were meant to celebrate it then. Hah. No-one paid them any attention, as usual.
