    Oh right, the get shitfaced holiday's today... Explains why I could smell booze on the bus into work, hopefully the ride home won't be too full of the inebriated :|

    Apparently you're technically not allowed to celebrate St. Paddy's day as this year it falls in Holy Week. That cancels out all Saints celebrations. But then who celebrates it because they're Catholic anymore?

    @synthsapien

    Actually. The Catholic Church moved the official St. Patrick's day to the 15th, just for this year, because Holy Week can't have happy things in it. So you were meant to celebrate it then. Hah. No-one paid them any attention, as usual.

    Yeah, I noticed Ireland celebrating on Saturday. Didn't know it was official though.

    Me and Preacher
    Me and Preacher.
    Yes, he's named after the Garth Ennis book. Plus his coloring gives him a
    "preachers collar." Plus, he never shuts up.

    John Wake's picture reminds me of the guy from Futurama, "Welcome, To the world of Tomorrow!"

    @LisaMantchev: I've been meaning to do that since I was 15 and I'm just about 23. I'm such a slowpoke. It looks very lovely though.

    trini_naenae: If you want, you should go for it. Hurt less-than-advertised and has yet to bother me (although I did it less than 24 hours ago... *G*)
