For anyone who will be in the Pacific Northwest come May, the Vancouver Art Gallery will be running a comics themed exhibition. I saw something similar at MoMa last May and found it fairly well-curated and entertaining.

    From a Vancouver Sun article:

Called Krazy! The Delirious World Of Anime + Comics + Video Games + Art, the exhibition will look at a century of image-making in popular culture and explore the links between graphic novels and video games. Believed to be the first art exhibition of its kind, Krazy! will include examples of original sketches, notes, concept drawings and final production drawings, animation cells, and three-dimensional models.

Co-curators include industry innovators such as Art Spiegelman on graphic novels, Tim Johnson on animated cartoons, Will Wright on video games and Toshiya Ueno and Kiyoshi Kusumi on anime/manga. The exhibition runs from May 17 to Sept. 7.
