I play drums for Your Favorite Assassin. We have an EP coming out in a couple weeks during our week-long tour through the northern part of the South.

    It looks like this:
Your Favorite Assassin: Design of a Death Trap

    and sounds (almost) like this:

I know Yunyu has another album on the way. She's being rather secretive about it at the moment, and she's been away from the net writing the album, so I'm unsure if she knows about Whitechapel yet. I'll know Warren was a fan of the first album, so I'll keep you all posted if she releases anything at all..

Hi, we are a band in Japan called Fatblueman and we just released an album this month called Back to Winnipeg (yeah, maybe we are homesick).

You can hear most if it here.

    And our homepage is here.

    Hope you enjoy it!

Well, since you asked… I thought I’d whore my band a bit.

We’re a UK based band. Our music blends various strains of extreme music, taking its cues from doom, stoner rock, prog rock, post rock and metal. Our music will likely appeal to fans of bands like Mastodon, Knut, Neurosis, Isis, Tool and Shora. Our debut album ‘Vantage’ will be released late May on the small Nottingham based indie label Sound Devastation Records.

We roped in Danica Novgordoff to do the cover art, the same lovely lady who created that beautiful little comic ‘A Late Freeze’. Any Wasteland readers may have noted that Anthony bigged us up in the letters column this month. What can I say, Anthony likes stuff that induces bleeding… from the ears.

Two new tracks from ‘Vantage’ as well as our complete early demos are available to listen to on our Official website and Myspace, as well as some promotional videos featuring footage from the ‘Vantage’ recording sessions in Holland.

Go forth, listen, look… hope you enjoy our sounds. Feedback welcome!

I finished an album called Plate and its artwork toward the end of last year, and have yet to do any kind of release other than posting it to the internet.

You can find the entire album and massive pictures containing the lyrics at

It's mostly acoustic guitar and singing done simultaneously into a single room mic, with some piano interludes and gradual increase of layering from start to finish.

Today I made a MySpace page; it's here.

Hey gang. I'm Dr. Quandary. First off, you can hear/download a bunch of my music at the following URLS:
    - (old albums, free streaming)

I just recently released a modest collection of free, Bollywood-inspired beats on my website. It's called Quanny Sitar. You can check it out at WWW.DOCQUAN.COM. There's gonna be a special edition CD released in May with four exclusive bonus tracks, periphery (stickers, posters, t-shirts and other crap you probably don't need) and sexy new artwork by Mumbai's own Diya Sarker (check her out if nothing else, her photography is the shit).

    Quanny Sitar Album Art

Also, my good friend/surrogate big brother S. Maharba of Ipswich, Suffolk just put out an EP called She. He's selling it on his website for £4.00/$8.00, and it comes with a free sticker featuring one of his dope monster characters.

    The official album blurb:

"Marking his induction into the World-Around Records family, the latest offering from the United Kingdom's master of gloomed-out beats shows a side of his persona only glimpsed in the past. Matching his signature distorted breaks with gorgeous melodic elements, warm synths and breathy, vintage female vocals, S. Maharba paints a sonic image unlike anything we've seen from him in the past."

You can check out some of Maharba's music at If you dig what you hear, pick up the album at WWW.SMAHARBA.COM.

Hope you dig, folks. Big ups to all of you. Time to start exploring the other music in this thread.

Hi, Warren and the Whitechapel folks.
My band, Seize Them! has just finished up our first, self-titled EP. It's at the pressing plant now and should be back in our hands by April 25th. The disc will be sold through our website,, at shows, and at our indie label's webstore.
It will also be on sale as digital downloads at the iTunes Music Store,, Napster, Rhapsody, EMusic and, though probably not until early June.
We're releasing this EP under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-Share Alike 3.0 license to encourage people to adopt, adapt and improve our music in their own ways.
I'll comment again when the disc is in our hands and ready for sale.

Okay, as promised, I'm commenting again now that the CD is a physical reality.

The EP is five songs, and you can get a CD in a slick digipak with a free sticker for $5 or you can buy a download (of the whole thing or individual tracks, DRM-free) from the iTunes Music Store. If you'd like to hear us first (and who wouldn't?), we offer most of our live shows for free download in .mp3 and FLAC format on our website, and what we've got featured right now is the recording of our EP release show from 4.25.08. We're also on the myspace.

Enjoy, folks! It's an eclectic record that leans toward straight up rock music, but there's an electro dance track and a drinking song as well. Something for everybody. And as I mentioned before, the whole thing is released under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 license.

My project Subscape Annex has a new EP coming out this quarter on Dim Records. More details shortly.

My friend is releasing his debut 7" this spring, hopefully by March. We're having issues with the artwork. I'm doing the design work for him. CD versions will be pressed for promotional purposes but the record comes with a digital download card so you can just put the songs on your iTunes and have a cool-looking record. It's um, "indie-pop?" Not sure, it sounds good though.
