    cricket cricket...

you've probably loaded the KEXP podcasts, but any other readers would do well to check them out.

One of your readers here has one called "Connexion Bizarre." [sorry, i forgot whose it is] - it's pretty great for an hour or two of dark ambient (mostly). updated weekly as far as i can tell.

There's an entertaining one I listen do called the "Diddy Wah Cast." It's an Australian cat who puts together themed mixes of all sorts of stuff. Lots of old blues, jazz, zydeco, funk; really a little bit of everything. It's usually fairly interesting.

i haven't listened in a while - not out of dislike, but out of forgetfulness. They featured Poles Apart's "Fierce the Fallow Foe", too - so it can't be all that bad, eh?

Perhaps not exactly to your taste in music, but Sound Opinions is my favourite. This week's guest is Butch Vig.

Mad Decent Radio is pretty damned good stuff most of the time, but eardrum butchering crap during the rest. Still, it's fun to open up Itunes and discover a mix from Tel Aviv or somewhere strange.

There's a fantastic video podcast I neglected to mention. Take Away Shows.

It's a French outfit that records various bands performing songs in metro cars, or freight elevators, or Central Park, or wandering around the streets of Paris.

Here's the link for the first song that Arcade Fire recorded for them. You gotta skip to about 3:40 in for the actual song.

My personal favorites are Hip-Hop and Performance Poetry, and plan to start drudging through the Alt. Rock soon.

I follow Coverville. Mostly covers, but sometimes there are "non-cover" editions.

I've a podcast I've recently started up here: Bullets From the Belfry . We're exposing unsigned alternative (dreadfully overused description, I know), darker themed music that doesn't fall into the hackneyed 'goth' typeset.
    Enjoy (I hope)!

Pod Music Countdown is pretty good, he seems to get a good collection of podsafe music each week, even if it is a countdown show and sometimes tends to repeat itself slightly
