I know there are some deeply disturbed people here. People who, like me, think dressing up in greasepaint and having deranged clowns staple playing cards to your forehead isn't just a good idea, its the best idea.
I've done Butoh with a bunch of fire dancers, piercers, and assorted ne'er-do-wells. I can get out of a professional quality straight jacket, even hanging upside down. I'm still worried about the 100-feet or rope challenge, because this being Portland I'm likely to end up hanging from a lamppost in full Shibari bondage. I'm teaching myself piano (okay, eventually I'll have to take classes. Indulge me, 'kay?), and wondering if I can learn to play with my feet so's I can do it while chained up.
I'm not even a neophyte at the circus arts, New Vaudeville, whatever you want to call it. Friends of mine have been performing since they were knee high to an oyster. They make me swoon. In a manly way.
So what are your skills? What have you seen that you'll never get to see again, what haven't you seen that you hope to?
