    I caved and picked up an Xbox 360.

    I also purchased a Live Account.

    I want to experience $400+ worth of entertainment STAT

    #1. What games are good for online play? I already have the older Crimson Skies (hey it was a game that interested me when it came out) which apparently is multiplayer...

    #2. Anyone interested in doing a Tag swap? Ausharrenwille here.

    #3 sink this if its to fucking weird for this crowd.

    Play Bioshock immediately, first of all.

    1. I hear Team Fortress 2 (part of the apparently amazing Orange Box collection) is a must-own.

    2. Mine's scabmettler, though I actually have yet to hook my 360 to the tubes.

    #1. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. It is the closest you can get to virtual Iraq. In fact, it made me more scared of war than I ever was. It is a little hardcore though. You can't exactly kick back and relax while you play it. Halo 3 is also good of course, and its a little less hardcore. Plus, if you're into fighting games, Virtua Fighter 5 is a blast online.

    #2. Mine is Zombinoid. Where I live right now the DSL is incompatible with XBL though. However, I'm looking to change that.

    I managed a Game store for 2 years and never caved to buying a console! Quite proud of that but they all thought I was mad.

    I've played through Bioshock on the PC and would definatley recommend it. But if you want multiplayer action try COD4, Rainbow Six 3 or Splinter Cell Pandora (this is the most unique multiplayer FPS). Most of all - enjoy.

    1. Texas Hold 'em, Carcassonne, Worms and Uno are actually pretty good online games, as well as the big guns mentioned above...

    COD4 is rad multiplayer, TF2 is good when you get a good host, halo3 is good.

    Mass Effect is a great RPG.

    Also I hate to say it as it is so stereotypical right now, but the Guitar Hero games have really been probably my most played games total hours wise.

    Hooray! Someone else knows about Zero Punctuation!

    For hilarious online play, I have to suggest Halo 3. Only there can you laugh at a five year-old using words that would normally warrant a slap across the head and a bar of soap in the mouth in my household.

    Orange Box is a GREAT purchase. I'm not a huge fan of the half-life series, but Portal and Team Fortress 2 is worth the price.

    #1 I'll go for the horrendously obvious picks: Halo 3 and Gears of War (although the latter has a few online mp issues.) Crimson Skies is a great pick - it was one of my favourites on the first Xbox. The Orange Box is a good shout from others. Crackdown is nice superhero-style fun and if you're into pure shooters Call of Duty 4 is probably the best recent pick.

    #3 No sinking. My Xbox is needing some love at the minute and the enthusiasm of others might help my get back into it!

    That is one thing u need 2 understand. Too many pre-pube fucks are on XBL. Whitechapel kneeds 2 reclaim XBL 4 assholes that have been fooked.

    May I also recommend Puzzle Quest, from the XBOX live Arcade?

    Other than that, I'm on playing the Orange Box or Gears of War as thewatermethod.

    Thanks for bringing up Zero Punctuation, by the way. I'd watched the Mass Effect review and laughed hysterically. I didn't realize there was so very much more.

    REZ HD on XBLA is upgrade of the old Euro dreamcast game. it's pretty great, if you never played it back in the day.
