Heads-up: The critically-acclaimed sellout first issue of Gutsville is now available, in its entirety, to read online.
Point your gastric explorations HERE HERE HERE, and let us know what you think.
And if this is your first time in the Gut, Let It Be Known that issues 2 and 3 are already festering on a shelf in your local comic store, waiting to be - fnar - digested.
Just read a nutshell summary of this book - whose name was known to me somehow but not its central idea - online this week, and then I find THIS! Thanks! Can't wait to see where it goes.
@Artemis Uh, Seafood, mostly, I'd imagine. I can't see that the poor creature they're inside gets much nutrition out of what it eats, as I'm sure that lot just steal it for themselves.
@ Artemis: Mostly moulds and rats, but the posh nobs in the First Class District get the pick of whatever seafood comes down the swallowchute. Generally that constitutes confused dolphins and semi-digested fish, but you've got to work with what you've got.
The question of how "The Beast" gets its nutrition is a very good one... Answers, of course, are coming.
i got the issue when it came out. not seen the other issues yet. though i do have the feel that it would be better as a trade, any chance of that? or is it wait and see how it does first?
