re-dozen freak angels - yeah i was checking maths there.

re-beards - there is nothing like being told you can't have a full gas mask in an emergency and need to make do with a paltry mouth piece to make you shave it off. that and being stopped in an airport while everyone walks passed. or is that just me?

Did that knife just break? Is that a psychic knife break, and Iron neck knife break, a spontaneous knife break? Is is to symbolize them breaking into her mind?

I'm so concerned over this one small detail. Otherwise, superb as usual.

Another wonderful episode. I'm looking forward to this every week, especially now that I have reference for the world, and I feel like I know the characters we've been learning about since episode one.

I'm hooked, and can't wait to see where you take us.

    Thanks, Warren and Paul.

Sirkka's all sparkly and dreamy. I'd like to know what she's doing to the brains of all the people at her sexy party.

Superb episode, Warren and Paul. The new Freakangel is very interesting, and KK is charismatic as usual. I also like the calm way Connor tries to deal with the situation even as his throat's bleeding. The dialogue is wonderfully sharp. Only one I didn't like was Sirkka saying "Connor, can you hear me? Being born psychic should really free me from having to get out of bed this early in the morning", because it's too expositive. I think just "Connor, can you hear me?" would have been enough, the rest could be deduced. Unless, of course, there's some importance for later in the series in establishing she was born psychic.

As for Paul Duffield's art, just as beautiful as usual. Even more, actually, the colors are even prettier than in previous episodes. Visual storytelling is precise and facial expressions, top-notch. Also, I like how Paul doesn't seem to use a ruler or something when drawing (the amazingly detailed) backgrounds, which somehow makes the art even nicer.

Great job once again, you two.

Good morning, Whitechapel. How'd we all do this week?

Hey, Ariana. Been a good week, wireless router isn't giving me any shit (thanks to Steerpike's help in the chat).

I'm having a time out until I can learn some manners.
"Spell Kirk on the lookout posts"...

    Has Shatner survived the apocalypse?

I like this episode...I like it very much...interesting power structure between the characters.

lol...the girls are rather impetuous, aren't they. And Connor, that smile he gives at the end is so cute. Been too long but, is that what happy, hopeful, naive innocence really looks like?

I enjoyed it! Nothing more critical than that! I'm along for the ride.

I do have one curiosity question for you, Warren (and this may not be the thread for it, but I'll no doubt be pointed in the right direction if it's not): When writing this comic, how many scripts do you stay ahead from the release date?

    so. yay for friday. again.

creepy blood/paint/rust/something splotch on the floor in sirkka's place was very fun. she's just all kinds of full of herself and i quite dig it.

i really really really want Alice to stay completely crazy and murderous. i like her that way and, well, i'll save the rest for later though i may not have to share it then. there's this toying with people not-Freakangels going on that may inspire more words. right now, i bask in the talent of others.

    Thanks Warren and Paul!

Ariana - my week has culminated in the decision to quit my job, stay single, and buy a bicycle for money and a skirt for which i have yet to buy the yarn. there will be no more sleep. which is alright, cuz the dreams are getting all kinds of freudian and he bores me. thanks for asking. how was yours?

friday just does not get here fast enough for me now. wow, another outstanding episode.

    I absolutely adore Connor.
Oh and I was curious about something (and perhaps I just missed something)- but do they have to speak out-loud when they talk to each other psychically? It seems to make some people uncomfortable.

My week of spring break has just ended & I absolutely loathe having to go back to classes all day.

There are a dozen Freakangels. We've still got players to establish.

Ahh.. yeah. I guess the clue was in the 'twelve strange children' part of the poster. Basic numeracy was never one of my strong points. And to cap it all, no possible facial hair configuration stops my kneck being so sore it looks like I've tried to hang myself.

The knife blade shattering was the intriguing part, to me... interested to watch and see where that sort of ability will take us...

It's such a tantalizing series... I want to know so much more about all of these characters, and I just know it's going to be many weeks before I get the answers. Not a complaint, mind you. :)

    Beautiful art as usual.

I really don't want to sound generic but, i seriously cannot wait for each installment, i am totally hooked-and each week is more addicting than the last. i love the art and while i know the story hasn't begun in full swing yet its amazing

this week and next week are going to be painful work wise for me, but being able to get out of bed on Saturdays and reading this through a hangover is nice.

I'll reread later once I've cleared the crusty stuff out of my cerebral cortex and hopefully pick up somethings I'm missing now.

I'm liking it very much even through my haze.
