How rich have comics made you?
    1)I can buy a horse
2)I can buy a stable full of horses
3)I can kick people with horse teeth in the mouth and avoid lawsuits

Is it all right if I repeat my questions to Ed Brubaker to you?

What do you feel is you greatest strength as a writer? What's an story crafting area you'd like to improve in? And is there any part of your craft that you obsess over more than anything else?

Any opinions on the purpose of art? And do you separate artistic work and entertainment work?

Favourite aspects of comics as a medium?

I understand that character's dead now.

They have someone else in the mask now--Greg Rucka did a mini-series based on her a little while back.

Alright, I got a couple questions to shoot at you.

    1) Do you have a particular character/series you've always wanted to write for but have never gotten the chance?

    2) I'm very interested in becoming a comic book writer myself. Advice?

I'd also like to thank you for taking time out of your day to answer all our silly little questions. It's appreciated.

What helps you get up in the morning? (I imagine drugs but I'd like to be wrong).
Is it your daughter or your work, a partner, friends?
What I'm trying to get at, is what makes you tick?
What keeps you going in this shitty world you portray in extremes?

    @warrenellis

    Did you get your sandwich?

Have you ever watched "The Call of Cthulhu" silent (music overlay) black and white film made in 2005. It obviouslly had a shoestring budget, but it was quite faithful and very eerie at times. I know your a busy dude so i'd imagine not but I just saw it last night and was quite impressed, lot of good reviews as well. Knowing your a squid-head...or whatever term is reserved for Lovecraft fans I thought you might be interested.

    1. No. That's not the way I think.

    2. Use Google.

    Mr. Ellis,

1.) As a fledgling writer, I'm finding it difficult to focus on one idea while I'm at the keyboard. I'll start writing something and someone else from another idea will start talking or I'll get broadsided by another new idea. Do you ever have instances where multiple ideas and/or characters fight for your attention when you sit down to write and how do you make the ones you're not working on 'play nice' until you're done with the task at hand?

What are your influences? Who are the people who inspired you to be the man you are today, people you were and are a fan of?

How much net force is required to accelerate a 1000 kg car at 5.00 m/s2?

A reminder to all: Warren Ellis Can Have You Killed.

And I think we're done for now.
