This whole thread is a great "to listen" list. Don't even know where to begin.

I'm currently discovering "The Doors" (dinosaurs? maybe, but I was less than an atom when The Lizard King was around). Plus some Stone Temple Pilots, some 60s oldies, PJ Harvey's first album and, humm, the Guitar Hero III compilation.

    @ghostboy

PJ harvey's second, 'rid of me' and (I believe) third, 'to bring you my love' are damn fine, too.

alias & _____ is headbobbing sleepy comfort.
alias & ehren = really warm idm/hiphop/downtempo beats with woodwinds on top
alias & tarsier = really warm idm/hiphop/downtempo beats with less spastic bjork-ish vocals

and, three cheers for Jesu. good call. perhaps that next.

I drove around Iowa City yesterday, giving The Mars Volta's Francis the Mute a good listen for the first time. Took me a while to get to it.

Aside from that, it's been Telepopmusik and Jimmy Eat World and this solo from Punch You in the Eye by Phish that won't stop going around and around in my head. Hardly need to actually listen to anything, when that's happening. I got my own soundtrack.

Listening to Jeff Buckley's Live At Sin-e ( 2-disc set ) right now. A talented guy who left this earth WAY too soon.

Also listening to Joanna Newsom's Ys at work, along with Beirut's Gulag Orkestar, Band of Horses' first album, and a mash-up of Penguin Cafe Orchestra tracks. No one else brought any music in, so they get to listen to my stuff. Lucky devils.

It's the night before my one hour college radio show so I have been fine tuning a list of music I like and doesn't include words like fuck and shit. Which is much harder then I anticipated when I started. It's finals week so it's quite light hearted. Here's my list
The Adverts - One Chord Wonders
    Fugazi - Waiting Room
The Ramones - Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue
    The Aquabats - Awesome Forces
Groovie Ghoulies - Bye Bye Brain
They Might Be Giants - Dead
Me First and the Gimme Gimmes - Ghostbusters
The Vandals - Too Much Drama
Nerf Herder - Pantera Fans in Love
The Cramps - Creture from the Black Leather Lagoon
    Tiger Army - Hotprowl
    Dropkick Murphys - Finnegan's Wake
The Buzzcocks - Why Can't I Touch It?
Flogging Molly - If I Ever Leave This World Alive
Against Me! - Pints of Guiness Make You Strong
Social Distortion - Ring Of Fire
    Johnny Cash - Rusty Cage

A bit eclectic, but hell last week I played some William Shatner side by side with Rasputina and Iggy Pop.

Apparently I'm reliving highschool today. It's been a lot of Sisters of Mercy, Revolting Cocks, and Skinny Puppy.
