I was listening to Kraftwerk, but thats now turned into the moldy peaches. Damn you random play (shakes fist), but due to my increasingly slow typing it could be anything next...
  1.  (16.342)
drumcorps - grist (the whole album)
    ladyscraper - hooke
laf-o - two sides of a coin mix
    venetian snares - masodik galamb
enduser - bjork is hiding under my bed
jim croce - tomorrow's gonna be a brighter day

  2.  (16.343)
venetian snares are also pretty rad. i only have one song by him/them on vinyl though-the only thing ive been able to find is that tigerbeat6 fight club 12". unfortunately for me, its also probably the least interesting of all of the stuff ive heard by them/him.
  3.  (16.344)

Venetian Snares is a 'him' and yeah, easily the best glitch/breakcore/whatever else it's called, out there.
You should check out his latest release Pink + Green, it's only an EP, so it's short, but it's the epitome of the breakcore genre.

i will definiely look for it! with breakcore/ spazz electronics i just don't know enough to find a lot of the good stuff. its not like hardcore where if i dont know i can call five people who will. i wish i could find more of this stuff. the most recent find ive made was on the suggestion of a friend, DJ FLOORCLEARER. pretty brutal.

Right Now I'm listening to the Gorillaz new D-Sides album. I'm really enjoying it. Especially the song "Bill Murray" and "Spitting Out The Demons".

For some reason I always go to these threads on a forum first.

Right now I'm listening to lots of The Longcut, Sunchase and Burial's new album.

On the subject of Untrue, I didn't really like it at first - it wasn't really what I was expecting, I guess. But today, I was walking back from the station and the broken "kissing you... tell me how you know, tell me how you know.." vocals over the apocalyptic drone of 'Archangel' came into my head and I haven't been able to stop listening to the album since.

Sunchase is a good complement, I've found. He's a drum & bass man, but the general sound of most of his releases is just an up-tempo version of that of Untrue: that sort of end-of-the-world sadness and doom coasting under a wave of short, sharp drumbeats.

And The Longcut, well. They just happen to be one of my favourite bands. I don't see nearly enough people listening to them, so here's a nice video:

Feeling kinda grumpy and surly today, so it's lots of Firewater and Tom Waits.

some posthumous stockhausen , findo gask's rather fine new single 'va va va' & severed heads' rather splendid 'blubberknife'

pj harvey-white chalk 12". not as burly and abrasive as my favorite stuff from her, but still great. the worst pj harvey song is better than pretty much anything else on a major label.
