Ah, yes, comics too. In addition to the standards mentioned above, I'm surprised we haven't heard about Bob the Angry Flower or Nobody Scores yet (correct me if I'm wrong).

Also, I do enjoy a Buttersafe and/or Hockey Zombie on occasion.

SO this is the place for bacon pron then. Finally after years of searching my quest is at an end!

    o/ Mr Stevens

I must say i'm a bit of a pixel whore. Currently wearing Red Robot socks and at home Wooden Robot lords over my room like he owns it. My girlfriend has also been indoctrinated in to 'the wearing of the pixel pants'.

Seriously though, as a designer it's great to see the humble pixel as the building block of such a great comic.
However, Indy Rock Pete must die! :P

There's a baconpunk tag on flickr. Incredible.

I'm afraid some good friends of mine and R's are behind the baconpunk thing.

    Bacon + steam = baconpunk

    Bacon + girls = baconporn

Bacon + ranch dressing + bakakke

Did I miss any? Thank you to everyone who is being so nice, you are the precise opposite of the old ladies who get me in trouble in newspapers.

Thanks for stopping in to entertain us. This thread is the funniest thing I've read today (why is it April 1st is often the unfunniest day of the year? Probably not enough bacon).

    @rstevens

Bacon + FUTURE! = the Bacological Singularity, where the variety and tastiness of bacon products (numbers that double every year) will reach a point where bacon surpasses human ability into a Taste Explosion (and human will have to combine with bacon to... no)

Good lord, I ran out of the nootropic brain pill men call Piracetam yesterday... life is harder with my normal IQ.

Greetings R! I do enjoy DS (I tend to wait and read in chunks) and I thank you for the pixellated joy. And the bacon fetish is cool as well; I have decided to eat bacon each morning this week in your honor (oh wait, I often do that anyway. Well, I will just eat more! Who needs clean arteries!).

As far as other webcomics go, has no one yet mentioned Dr. McNinja? Has the good physician/assassin become passe or something?

@erudite_ogre - I too am an enormous Dr McNinja fan, reckoning it to be about the greatest ninja- or medical-themed webcomic in existence.

Besides all the great offerings already in this thread, I, myself, am incredibly partial to a work of genius called We the Robots.

Oh, yay. You like nootropics too. I have some handy; were I able to fax 3D items through the intert00bs, I would surely email you some.

It's a miracle! My package of Czech pills showed up 20 minutes ago. There's got to be a joke in brain pills with a Polish label, but I'm not self-loathing enough to make it.

If you don't mind me asking: are they cheaper coming from overseas? I've found 'em reasonably cheap in the States...
  8.  (1620.17)
Dresden Codak recommended this beauty of a webcomic, Kate Beaton

    Beaton!

Now these are history lessons! :)

    Is that stuff any good?

And, to Val -- if you read my website, you'd have known about Kate many months ago.

Val! Kate is awesome. I think I found her before everybody else, making her my one true success in life.

I fuckin' love the Piracetam. Work it in a couple times a day with brain aminos and you're halfway to being the Leader. Any more effective and I'd stop talking to people.

Where does one find these magic brain-worky pills? I'd ask Google, but really, just looking at random drug sites on the 'tubes seems to be inviting disaster.
