It'll run for as long as it runs. Don't look for the end.

I may have missed it, but is there some printed backstory somewhere? Like who the Freakangels are, how they acquired thier abilities and what the hell happened to London (and possibly the rest of the world), or will that be covered further down the line (or possibly NOT covered at all)?

Q for Paul or Warren: is Arkady wearing anything under her skirt - not that this matters of course and I am not one to complain about such things ;-) ? or is this left up to our imagination LOL?

First off: Thanks Paul & Warren for putting this up. Great art and interesting plot so far. Lovely!

'Kady's most interesting so far.. and
@ promethian; I'm letting my imagination go wild for now... she feels like that kind of character to me.

@ Paul: There is no shoujo/josei influence in the artwork that I can see... and it just goes really well with the whole of FA so far though.

Edit: Can't quite figure how to bold/italicize yet... ;p

Does that mean that the ending is already written?

Warren’s free webcomic, FREAKANGELS, supposedly has a four or five year run. The first collection will be out in December.

Ah, I'd only read the first two installments prior to today(I prefer to read large chunks at a time, gets me more immersed in the work). Just now I decided 15 weeks was enough time to build and went through and read it all. Absolutely fantastic stuff Warren, I am enjoying it immensely. I've always had a soft spot for post-apocalyptic stuff, particularly with engaging and well written characters. I'm really in love with this series right now, easily joins my best of recent Ellis list with Fell and Desolation Jones. What a thing, Fell is $1.99 and Freakangels is free(til I happily buy a printed version!).

Also, fantastic stuff from Paul Duffield. Those cloudy skies are friggin amazing and the buildings look hauntingly empty and still, but not in an off-putting or threatening way, calm and soothing. I love it.

I came to this thread to ask a bunch of all-ready answered questions. So glad to see this is planned to be a long ongoing affair, I have no interest in the ending, I just want to enjoy this ride for as long as Warren and Paul want to paint the road.

Hello. This may have been asked somewhere, but I can't find it:

Is there a reason that all of the FreakAngels' names start with or contain the letter K or a hard C? I like it.

Mmm, do have to wonder whether that was conscious.

It has been answered a few times in earlier episode threads (which anyone just joining us might have missed), and the answer is, yes it's a conscious decision on Warren's behalf to have a hard 'c' sound (but not necessarily the letter k) in all the Freakangels' names.
