Anyone else going ?

Can't wait to see Wil, Darick Robertson, Mike Grell, and Ed Brubaker at the show. I will also be stalking Brandon and Lukas in the hope of obtaining one of their books. Anyone know of a good tattoo parlor in the area ? I hope to get Darick to sketch me out a spider (preferably on my skull) to be immortalized on my mortal frame.

I was about to chime in with, "I'm going!" until I saw
I will also be stalking Brandon and Lukas in the hope of obtaining one of their books.
which means you already knew that. :-)

(He's talking about my comic Witch Doctor.)

I hadn't even caught that Wil was going to be there. And Adam Baldwin! And Jeph Jacques! Now I'm extra excited.

And if there's going to be a costume contest, then I probably wouldn't be out of place if I did my Spider look. Hmmmmm...

Forget the stencil t-shirt. I'll be able to spot the live action spider.

That could work. The 6'4" Spider look-alike...

I'll be going. I've opened a coffee thread over in the group blog since folks seem very friendly on this board.

I'm primarily going to hang out with a friend-- don't know how much convention stuff I'll do.

Yup. My first time as a guest of the show, and not just a retailer/attendee. I'm quite pleased.

It's finally lookin' possible. Financial issues have raised their ugly heads in recent months, buy hopefully they've been conquered.

It's a great con for drinking, incidentally. Bring your drinkin' boots.

Finally, a venue for drunken Cosplay. I can't wait to see poison ivy walking out of a 7-11 with a case of beer under her/his arm. Only in America.

I completely missed that.

Of course. If Mr Trautmann is not adverse to the idea I'll even buy him a coffee; you can pay me back in Chicago.

@um, everyone else. ;)

Thanks for the kind words; hope to see you there. I'll probably be seated next to either Rucka or Jerwa, my frequent collaborators. I'll be the one who looks faintly embarrassed and/or really surprised that someone might want a book signed.

Oh, and unlike Jerwa, I'm the handsome one. Make sure you tell him that, too. Prolific fucker needs to be taken down a peg or two. (Just don't say that to Greg. He can KILL YOU WITH HIS MIND.)

Heh.

@Z. I like coffee.

Sadly I am not enamored of Chicago, and cannot return the favor though. Sorry. (Only place I've ever been where someone stuck a gun in my face.)

Meaning, he owes me coffee in Chicago once I've followed through and bought coffee for you on his behalf. You're off the hook (with a coffee in-hand in the bargain).

Ah.

Parsing errors. My bad.

In any event, I look forward to meeting y'all in Seattle.

I'll be there, hanging at the Oni booth with MAINTENANCE, TEK JANSEN and a new Oni project underway. I think it's my only con this year.
