    Well, here's mine, no special theme other than "This is what I'm listening to these days and feel like posting to Muxtape." Which is a good enough theme in of itself, really.

    @LiamH: You left out my favourite robot song, "None Of Them Knew They Were Robots" by Mr. Bungle!

    Gave it a shot. Some of it's pretty standard, a little populist, but hey.

    Ignore the name/caption--it's an injoke for the 3 people I'd planned to see it/listen to it.

    oh thank you! i've been wanting to hear other people's muxes.

    here's my first dabble: http://bigdamnmusic.muxtape.com/

    i aim to change it out weekly.

    (and special thanks for the j-pop!)

    @ LiamH & Groonk: No problem!

    There were a bunch more songs that it didn't want to upload - possibly because of kanji tags or something. I tried to romanize everything but it still wouldn't let me put some stuff up. Anyway I'm out of town this week, but I aim to fill it up next week, then keep changing it pretty regularly. There's always loads of stuff people aren't familiar with and it's generally really fun.

    These are fucking amazing mixes.

    Bear McCreary's rendition of All Along The Watchtower on the third mix is unbelievable. This is, by far, the best mix I've heard yet.

    I agree those came out well. Just in case anyone missed that postapocalyptic thread, that third one still needs finishing.

    Currently this is keeping the brain going:
    http://infinitemonkeytheory.muxtape.com/.

    I've come to the conclusion that one of the best things about muxtape is the lack of a search function. It makes stumbling onto new music pretty much a given.

    @taphead

    It certainly is nice that muxtape itself does not have a search function cluttering its austere interface, but I do wish Google could search muxtapes. Unless I'm going about it all wrong, I cannot get Google to come up with one muxtape page through search. I don't have a lot of music on my work laptop, and wish I could bring up a muxtape that has a band I'm craving at that current moment.

    It can (sorta, looks like all results are from the 25th. Huh. Maybe the site blocked robots after that) -- But you can try your luck with the advanced function to search the muxtape domain like so:
    searchterm site:muxtape.com
