Oh, the shame of it! *forlorn look* How can I have fallen so far, and degraded myself so? What kind of a druggie tramp have I become? Woe is me!
Your offer is incredibly generous... But what will you do with all the lab equipment? Besides, I've named the dust-bunnies. The big one is Mr. Tiddles, and the small ones are Ellington Bee and Duchess Yum-Yum.
earlier today I was possessed of an urge to try and recreate a photo of myself on Itsukushima, using only the clothes from my inventory. I was hampered in this by the facts that: my inventory sucks; SL Itsukushima sucks (I had to crop out a bunch of "your ad here" floaters); and my av reflects my current weight and hair length, not those in the photo. still, beats working.
(only while trying to recreate that outfit in SL did I realize how ugly it really was.)
Frenchbloke Vanmoer (surname chosen as it sounded like lawnmower, vaguely) can be seen as a kilt wearing rabbit with mohican, pasty faced bespectacled person or like this
Very new to it, but quite intrigued. Got forced into it by my employer - the State Government of Victoria - getting all "hang on, second life's cool? we'd better get on there then" and then turning to us cos we make a mildly successful website for them and saying "you take point". Anyway I did some reading up on SL - warren's columns for reuters and Second Life Safari mostly - and then went in for a look and didn't mind it. Curious to have a bit more of a look around - hoping that all y'all above can point me to genuinely interesting stuff as opposed to the stuff that does nothing to contradict the presumptions most people have about SL.
This is our work avatar - youth central maximus - (our website is youthcentral) hanging out at the launch of the Melbourne Laneways project, wherein bits of melbourne have been recreated for a vague and unspecified reason that may have something to do with tourism.
Personally, having just swum alongside a virtual killer whale last week I'm jonesing for some more underwater fun and that deepsea stuff you posted, echo, hasn't done anything to dissuade that.
Warren, is your place a restricted, friends-only zone or may newbie strangers drop in for a looksee?
